Easter egg basket

Collecting Easter eggs has to be the most egg-citing part of Easter morning. Seeing what that big old bunny left is great fun – but what to collect them in?

Print this FREE Easter egg basket template and make your own!

What you need

  • printer
  • A4 paper
  • coloured markers
  • scissors
  • glue or stapler

Activity

Print the basket via the link.

Get the kids to colour in the basket. The more colourful, the better!

Cut around the basket, making sure not to snip off the tabs.

Fold the tabs along the fold to create your basket as instructed in the image below.

Glue, staple or tape the tabs to make the basket.

Cut the handle out and staple it to the edges, over the basket.

Notes

  • Fill your basket with cotton wool to create a soft base to sit your eggs in as you collect them.
  • You may like to give the basket as a gift full of eggs instead!
