The laws of Physics apply to our everyday activities, even cooking food. Watch this animated video explaining how a pressure cooker works to cook our food faster.
Steam and Pressure are 2 very important things happening inside the chamber of a pressure cooker.
A pressure cooker is made up of a pot, a lid which fits precisely on the pot with a locking mechanism; a rubber ring that goes between the lid and the pot so that no air can escape; a valve on top of the lid with a release whistle
There are 2 extremely important parts in all pressure cookers. The rubber ring that goes between the pot and the lid ensures that no air escapes from inside the container; if it did then the pressure would not be able to build up.
The valve on the top is a safety measure that makes sure the pressure does not build up to dangerous levels inside the pot. This could lead to a potentially dangerous explosion. It is designed to allow some of the steam to escape after the pressure inside reaches a certain point. And with that startling whistle we know how much the food has been cooked.

Learn how to make Chocolate Cake In Pressure Cooker at home with step by step easy recipe video. If you have fear of making cake in pressure cooker, then this video will be so helpful for you. Ingredients for Chocolate Cake in Pressure Cooker:
½ cup plus 6 tbsps. All-purpose flour
1 cup caster sugar or granulated
6 tbsp. cocoa powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp instant coffee (optional)
½ cup milk full fat
½ cup hot water
¼ cup veg or canola oil
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
To assemble:
Chocolate frosting
Sugar syrup
Method:
1.Remove weight and filter from the lid of pressure cooker.
2.Place the pressure cooker on stove top, add 1 cup of salt, place some steel bowl or heat proof pot, cover and preheat on medium flame for 5 minutes. Then turn the flame on low.
3.In a bowl, sift together, flour, cocoa, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Mix to combine.
4.Heat ½ cup of water in microwave for 40 seconds, add coffee and stir to dissolve. Set this aside.
5.Into the dry ingredients, add egg, milk, vanilla extract and hot coffee water. Beat on slow speed for 1 minute or until everything is well combined.
6.Pour this mixture into a greased and lined pan. Tap to remove air bubbles.
7.Carefully place this batter into pressure cooker.
8.Cover and bake on medium flame for 5 minutes.
9.Then bake for 35-40 minutes on low flame.
10.After 35 minutes insert toothpick if comes out clean cake is done. If it is not done bake 10-15 more.
11.After 5 minutes, remove the cake from the pressure cooker, and let it stand for about 10 minutes to cool.
12.Frost it with chocolate frosting.
13.Enjoy. Good Luck!
NOTES:
For electric stove bake for 50-60 minutes on low flame.
For gas stove bake for 30-35 minutes on low flame.

John Robert "Joe" Cocker, OBE (20 May 1944 – 22 December 2014) was an English singer and musician. He was known for his gritty voice, spasmodic body movement in performance, and definitive versions of popular songs.
Cocker's cover of the Beatles' "With a Little Help from My Friends" reached number one in the UK in 1968. He performed the song live at Woodstock in 1969, and at the Party at the Palace concert for the Golden Jubilee of Elizabeth II in 2002. His version also became the theme song for the TV series The Wonder Years. His 1974 cover of "You Are So Beautiful", reached number five in the US. Cocker was the recipient of several awards, including a 1983 Grammy Award for his US number one "Up Where We Belong", a duet with Jennifer Warnes.
In 1993 Cocker was nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Male, in 2007 was awarded a bronze Sheffield Legends plaque in his hometown, and in 2008 he received an OBE at Buckingham Palace for services to music. Cocker was ranked number 97 on Rolling Stone's 100 greatest singers list.

Chocolate cake is a cake flavored with melted chocolate and/or cocoa powder.
History
Chocolate cake is made with chocolate; it can be made with other ingredients, as well. These ingredients include fudge, vanilla creme, and other sweeteners. The history of chocolate cake goes back to 1764, when Dr. James Baker discovered how to make chocolate by grinding cocoa beans between two massive circular millstones.
In 1828, Conrad Van Houten of the Netherlands developed a mechanical extraction method for extracting the fat from cacao liquor resulting in cacao butter and the partly defatted cacao, a compacted mass of solids that could be sold as it was "rock cacao" or ground into powder. The processes transformed chocolate from an exclusive luxury to an inexpensive daily snack. A process for making silkier and smoother chocolate called conching was developed in 1879 by Rodolphe Lindt and made it easier to bake with chocolate as it amalgamates smoothly and completely with cake batters. Until 1890 to 1900, chocolate recipes were mostly for drinks.

Cake
Cake is a form of sweet dessert that is typically baked. In its oldest forms, cakes were modifications of breads but now cover a wide range of preparations that can be simple or elaborate and share features with other desserts such as pastries, meringues, custards and pies.
Typical cake ingredients are flour, sugar, eggs, butter or oil, a liquid, and leavening agents, such as baking soda and/or baking powder. Common additional ingredients and flavourings include dried, candied or fresh fruit, nuts, cocoa, and extracts such as vanilla, with numerous substitutions for the primary ingredients. Cakes can also be filled with fruit preserves or dessert sauces (like pastry cream), iced with buttercream or other icings, and decorated with marzipan, piped borders, or candied fruit.
Cake is often served as a celebratory dish on ceremonial occasions, for example weddings, anniversaries, and birthdays. There are countless cake recipes; some are bread-like, some rich and elaborate, and many are centuries old. Cake making is no longer a complicated procedure; while at one time considerable labor went into cake making (particularly the whisking of egg foams), baking equipment and directions have been simplified so that even the most amateur cook may bake a cake.

A pressure cooker is made up of a pot, a lid which fits precisely on the pot with a locking mechanism; a rubber ring that goes between the lid and the pot so that no air can escape; a valve on top of the lid with a release whistle
There are 2 extremely important parts in all pressure cookers. The rubber ring that goes between the pot and the lid ensures that no air escapes from inside the container; if it did then the pressure would not be able to build up.
The valve on the top is a safety measure that makes sure the pressure does not build up to dangerous levels inside the pot. This could lead to a potentially dangerous explosion. It is designed to allow some of the steam to escape after the pressure inside reaches a certain point. And with that startling whistle we know how much the food has been cooked.

Ingredients for Chocolate Cake in Pressure Cooker:
½ cup plus 6 tbsps. All-purpose flour
1 cup caster sugar or granulated
6 tbsp. cocoa powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp instant coffee (optional)
½ cup milk full fat
½ cup hot water
¼ cup veg or canola oil
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
To assemble:
Chocolate frosting
Sugar syrup
Method:
1.Remove weight and filter from the lid of pressure cooker.
2.Place the pressure cooker on stove top, add 1 cup of salt, place some steel bowl or heat proof pot, cover and preheat on medium flame for 5 minutes. Then turn the flame on low.
3.In a bowl, sift together, flour, cocoa, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Mix to combine.
4.Heat ½ cup of water in microwave for 40 seconds, add coffee and stir to dissolve. Set this aside.
5.Into the dry ingredients, add egg, milk, vanilla extract and hot coffee water. Beat on slow speed for 1 minute or until everything is well combined.
6.Pour this mixture into a greased and lined pan. Tap to remove air bubbles.
7.Carefully place this batter into pressure cooker.
8.Cover and bake on medium flame for 5 minutes.
9.Then bake for 35-40 minutes on low flame.
10.After 35 minutes insert toothpick if comes out clean cake is done. If it is not done bake 10-15 more.
11.After 5 minutes, remove the cake from the pressure cooker, and let it stand for about 10 minutes to cool.
12.Frost it with chocolate frosting.
13.Enjoy. Good Luck!
NOTES:
For electric stove bake for 50-60 minutes on low flame.
For gas stove bake for 30-35 minutes on low flame.
