Imbued with a rich nautical history, Cape Nelson Lighthouse was witness to many high seas dramas in the 1800's. Still in operation today the lighthouse offers refurbished contemporary accommodation in a site that features spectacular views and a hint of the romance of past nautical history. Guided tours operate at 11.00am and 2.00pm daily.
Our gourmet café is open for lunches, morning and afternoon teas. Dine in the converted bluestone stables in an atmosphere of relaxed comfort. Only 10 minutes drive from Portland, the precinct offers spectacular views of the Capes, and the opportunity to view Southern Right and Humpback whales in winter and Blue whales in summer. |
