Hi, my name is Phil from the german travel blog www.killerwal.com. Today I'm gonna take you to Zurich, which is the capital of the canton of Zurich in Switzerland but not of Switzerland itself, which has no capital city at all.
The city of Zurich has approximately 400,000 inhabitants, is the largest city in Switzerland and has a population density of approximately 4300 inhabitants per square kilometer. Zurich is the most important economic, scientific and social center of Switzerland. The city lies in the eastern Swiss Plateau, on the Lake Zurich. Its inhabitants are called "Zürcher".
For years, Zurich is one of the cities with the highest quality of life and listed the highest cost of living simultaneously. Since 2012, Zurich is regarded as the most expensive city in the world, followed by Tokyo and Geneva.
With its main railway station, the largest station in Switzerland , and the airport, the city of Zurich is a continental transportation hub and thanks to the local big banks (including UBS and Credit Suisse ) and insurances (Zurich Insurance Group and Swiss Re) an international financial center and the largest financial center Switzerland, followed by Geneva and Lugano. Despite the relatively small population Zurich is therefore considered one of the world's cities. Above average number of media companies , including Swiss radio and television, have their headquarters here Thanks to its location on Lake Zurich and its well-preserved medieval center and a wide range of cultural attractions and nightlife, it is also a center of Swiss Tourism.

Primul eşec pentru Dinamo în cantonamentul din Spania - câinii au fost învinși, scor 0-1, de elveţienii de la FC Zurich.
Dinamo a pierdut al treilea amical din Spania. După ce au câștigat cu 1-0 cu Tianjin Teda şi Eintracht Braunschweig, câinii au cedat cu acelaşi scor în faţa lui FC Zurich.
Fosta adversară a Stelei din grupele Europa League a ratat cele mai mari ocazii ale primei părţi şi a punctat prin Cavusevic, cu şapte minute înainte de pauză.
După reluare, tot elveţienii din liga secundă au fost mai periculoşi, într-o partidă în care Dinamo n-a avut nicio ocazie! S-a terminat 1-0 pentru FC Zurich, iar pe elevii lui Andone îi aşteaptă ultimul amical din Spania, vineri, cu Videoton, liderul din Ungaria.

Der Pilot landet sanft auf Piste 14. Willkommen in Zürich. Schnallen Sie sich an: Der dreiminütige Besuch in der Limmatstadt gleicht einer fantastischen Achterbahnfahrt. Das Feuerwerk von Eindrücken überrascht mit dynamischen Hyperlapse-Aufnahmen, entstanden aus dem Cockpit eines SWISS-Airbus oder aus dem Führerstand einer S-Bahn. Zu den Highlights gehören ein Sprung ins Opernhaus, das brodelnde Nebelmeer um den Prime Tower und jene Momente, in denen die Perspektive hoch über die Stadt abhebt. Für die Aufnahmen aus der Luft wurde eine eigens dafür optimierte Drohne verwendet. Für diesen Film wurden insgesamt 90'000 Fotos erstellt.

Blow off steam in the incredible nightlife of Zurich, these are my top 10 best nightclubs and bars in the biggest city of Switzerland. Zurich is known as world's most expensive city, my guide assures you; you'll spend money wisely.

Kick off your evening at either the Widder Bar for its 250 malt whiskies and their bizarre cocktails or head over to Zurich West for a few drinks at outdoor beer garden Frau Gerolds or Les Halles, which is a fun indoor lounge with pinball machines, fussball and a giant bar - the best spot to socialize with the locals.
If you are not a heavy clubber I highly recommend Helsinkiklub, one of the most fun places in town with laid back locals, hiphop, cheap beers and a welcoming atmosphere.
As most of you know, Zurich is the most expensive city in the world and many of these parties are quite expensive with entrance fees around $30 CAD and beers around $14 CAD it can end up being an expensive night for the average traveller.

Zürich or Zurich (/ˈzjʊərɪk/, Swiss Standard German Zürich [ˈtsʏrɪç], German Standard German Zürich [ˈtsyːʁɪç], Swiss German: Züri [ˈtsyɾi], French: Zurich [zyʁik], Italian: Zurigo [dzuˈriːɡo], Romansh: Turitg [tuˈritɕ]) is the largest city in Switzerland and the capital of the canton of Zürich. It is located in north-central Switzerland at the northwestern tip of Lake Zürich. The municipality has approximately 400,028 inhabitants, the urban agglomeration 1.315 million, and the Zurich metropolitan area 1.83 million. Zürich is a hub for railways, roads, and air traffic. Both Zürich Airport and railway station are the largest and busiest in the country.
Permanently settled for around 2000 years, Zürich has a history that goes back to its founding by the Romans, who, in 15 BC, called it Turicum. However, early settlements have been found dating back more than 6400 years ago. During the Middle Ages Zürich gained the independent and privileged status of imperial immediacy and, in 1519, became a primary centre of the Protestant Reformation in Europe under the leadership of Ulrich Zwingli.

Switzerland
Switzerland (/ˈswɪtsərlənd/), officially the Swiss Confederation (Latin: Confoederatio Helvetica, hence its abbreviation CH), is a country in Europe. While still named the "Swiss Confederation" for historical reasons, modern Switzerland is a federal directorial republic consisting of 26 cantons, with Bern as the seat of the federal authorities, called Bundesstadt ("federal city"). The country is situated in Western and Central Europe, and is bordered by Italy to the south, France to the west, Germany to the north, and Austria and Liechtenstein to the east. Switzerland is a landlocked country geographically divided between the Alps, the Swiss Plateau and the Jura, spanning an area of 41,285 km2 (15,940 sq mi). While the Alps occupy the greater part of the territory, the Swiss population of approximately 8 million people is concentrated mostly on the Plateau, where the largest cities are to be found: among them are the two global and economic centres, Zürich and Geneva.
The establishment of the Swiss Confederation is traditionally dated to 1 August 1291, which is celebrated annually as the Swiss National Day. The country has a long history of armed neutrality—it has not been in a state of war internationally since 1815—and did not join the United Nations until 2002. Nevertheless, it pursues an active foreign policy and is frequently involved in peace-building processes around the world. In addition to being the birthplace of the Red Cross, Switzerland is home to numerous international organizations, including the second largest UN office. On the European level, it is a founding member of the European Free Trade Association, but notably it is not part of the European Union, nor the European Economic Area. However the country does participate in the Schengen Area and the EU's single market through a number of bilateral treaties.

Zurich by Night Der Pilot landet sanft auf Piste 14. Willkommen in Zürich. Schnallen Sie sich an: Der dreiminütige Besuch in der Limmatstadt gleicht einer fantastischen Achterbahnfahrt. Das Feuerwerk von Eindrücken überrascht mit dynamischen Hyperlapse-Aufnahmen, entstanden aus dem Cockpit eines SWISS-Airbus oder aus dem Führerstand einer S-Bahn. Zu den Highlights gehören ein Sprung ins Opernhaus, das brodelnde Nebelmeer um den Prime Tower und jene Momente, in denen die Perspektive hoch über die Stadt abhebt. Für die Aufnahmen aus der Luft wurde eine eigens dafür optimierte Drohne verwendet. Für diesen Film wurden insgesamt 90'000 Fotos erstellt. Auf helvetiabynight.com gibt es zu diesem Film 12 interaktive Panoramas. Der Pilot landet sanft auf Piste 14. Willkommen in Zürich. Schnallen Sie sich an: Der dreiminütige Besuch in der Limmatstadt gleicht einer fantastischen Achterbahnfahrt. Das Feuerwerk von Eindrücken überrascht mit dynamischen Hyperlapse-Aufnahmen, entstanden aus dem Cockpit eines SWISS-Airbus oder aus dem Führerstand einer S-Bahn. Zu den Highlights gehören ein Sprung ins Opernhaus, das brodelnde Nebelmeer um den Prime Tower und jene Momente, in denen die Perspektive hoch über die Stadt abhebt. Für die Aufnahmen aus der Luft wurde eine eigens dafür optimierte Drohne verwendet. Für diesen Film wurden insgesamt 90'000 Fotos erstellt.
Auf helvetiabynight.com gibt es zu diesem Film 12 interaktive Panoramas.
Das Gemeinschafts-Projekt der beiden Fotografen Alessandro Della Bella und Christian Mülhauser wurde beim Drehbuch und in der Postproduktion unterstützt von Milan Rohrer, Sales Wick und Florian Trojer von SkyProduction. Einen wesentlichen Beitrag hat auch MichaelGertschen.ch mit der Musik geleistet – es waren über 150 Tonspuren. Herzlichen Dank!

Kick off your evening at either the Widder Bar for its 250 malt whiskies and their bizarre cocktails or head over to Zurich West for a few drinks at outdoor beer garden Frau Gerolds or Les Halles, which is a fun indoor lounge with pinball machines, fussball and a giant bar - the best spot to socialize with the locals.
If you are not a heavy clubber I highly recommend Helsinkiklub, one of the most fun places in town with laid back locals, hiphop, cheap beers and a welcoming atmosphere.
As most of you know, Zurich is the most expensive city in the world and many of these parties are quite expensive with entrance fees around $30 CAD and beers around $14 CAD it can end up being an expensive night for the average traveller.
