About the award:
For the 1927/28 Academy awards, the award was for engineering effects. There was no award again until 1938 where it was called a special award "for outstanding achievement in creating special photographic and sound effects. The very next year the award was combined with sound effects and called the Award for Special Effects. It wasn't until 1963 that the award became the Award for Best Visual Effects (which it is still called today). It was given every year from 1963 to present, with the exception of 1973.

"This was my first big-budget "Oz Rock" music video with a three day shoot, and a huge crew out in the middle of the Australian outback. It has all the classic Oz Rock cliches - deserts, sunsets, band playing their electric keyboards and intsruments in the middle of nowhere, and lots of rock god posing on rocks etc. I remember the band asking if they could do anything else apart from pointing at the horizon. I couldn't really think of anything for them to do at the time apart from walking and pointing, so you'll notice the band doing... a lot of walking and pointing ! We actually shot this in Broken Hill and Silverton in and around the very same locations and stretches of road that were used in MAD MAX 2 : THE ROAD WARRIOR. In fact the DOP for this clip was none other than future Oscar winning cinematographer Andrew Lesnie (THE LORD OF THE RINGS), who was also a 2nd unit cameraman on MAD MAX 2. He already knew all the best angles and locations, making my job pretty easy. Being a huge fan of all the Mad Max films, it was a nerdy thrill to be shooting on the same hallowed ground. Another interesting bit of trivia is that this clip was edited by Craig Wood who went on to cut THE MEXICAN, THE RING, and THE PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN films. "

I Think of You was Perry Como's 20th 12" long-play album released by RCA Records.
A review from The Gramophone said of this album; ". . . Mr. Como takes a vocal look at songs which have been hits in recent months for other artists . . . In fact, he makes every song his own with an effortless facility possessed by very few artists, and the LP is an undiluted pleasure from beginning to end." This album continues the formula of the previous LP release by including a majority selection of soft pop/rock from the charts of 1970-1971 by artists such as Simon and Garfunkel, Glen Campbell, The Carpenters, Bread, Lobo, Ocean and others.

Think of You (Usher song)
"Think of You" is the second single from Usher's 1994 album Usher. It was co-written by Usher alongside labelmate Donell Jones and Faith Evans, and samples jazz musician Ronnie Laws' song "Tidal Wave" off of the album Pressure Sensitive.
The song fared better than its predecessor, "Can U Get Wit It", climbing to #7 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, #58 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #70 on the UK Singles Chart. The video features a young Taral Hicks, that Usher is singing to.

About the award:
For the 1927/28 Academy awards, the award was for engineering effects. There was no award again until 1938 where it was called a special award "for outstanding achievement in creating special photographic and sound effects. The very next year the award was combined with sound effects and called the Award for Special Effects. It wasn't until 1963 that the award became the Award for Best Visual Effects (which it is still called today). It was given every year from 1963 to present, with the exception of 1973.

"This was my first big-budget "Oz Rock" music video with a three day shoot, and a huge crew out in the middle of the Australian outback. It has all the classic Oz Rock cliches - deserts, sunsets, band playing their electric keyboards and intsruments in the middle of nowhere, and lots of rock god posing on rocks etc. I remember the band asking if they could do anything else apart from pointing at the horizon. I couldn't really think of anything for them to do at the time apart from walking and pointing, so you'll notice the band doing... a lot of walking and pointing ! We actually shot this in Broken Hill and Silverton in and around the very same locations and stretches of road that were used in MAD MAX 2 : THE ROAD WARRIOR. In fact the DOP for this clip was none other than future Oscar winning cinematographer Andrew Lesnie (THE LORD OF THE RINGS), who was also a 2nd unit cameraman on MAD MAX 2. He already knew all the best angles and locations, making my job pretty easy. Being a huge fan of all the Mad Max films, it was a nerdy thrill to be shooting on the same hallowed ground. Another interesting bit of trivia is that this clip was edited by Craig Wood who went on to cut THE MEXICAN, THE RING, and THE PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN films. "
