But Michelle Keegan divided some opinions at the National Television Awards on Wednesday night, as she presented the Period Drama award.

While many fans of the actress, 29, flooded social media with nothing but praise for the Our Girl star - some took exception to her stint on stage at the O2 arena.

Hitting the red carpet with husband Mark Wright, Michelle was one of the stand-out best dressed women on the night.

However, it seems that some viewers of the awards took exception to her presenting skills as she got on stage.

One fan, @kasiawol_ commented: 'Michelle Keegan could have sounded a bit more enthusiastic when announcing the winner.'

The Northern star's fans deluged Twitter with praise for her look on the night, labelling her 'gorgeous' and 'somethin' else' among other things.

And the praise didn't stop pouring in there, as even more fans were quick to label the actress everything from 'hot' to 'girl crush'.
