It's finally happening! Aquaman stars Jason Momoa and Amber Heard pictured for first time at script table-read with director James Wan
It's been two years since Warner Bros. and DC Comics announced there would be an Aquaman movie.
But finally it looks as if production is set to begin soon after director James Wan shared a picture on social media of a table reading with his principle cast.
The Saw and Furious 7 filmmaker tweeted out the photo Tuesday showing himself with stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard and Patrick Wilson.

It's the first time the leads have been pictured all together with the director who also penned the screenplay for the highly-anticipated superhero movie.
The film will be shot at the Village Roadshow Studios in Queensland, Australia, with principal photography expected to begin in May.
The location will bring back memories for Heard who spent time there with now ex-husband Johnny Depp while he was filming Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Momoa first suited up as Aquaman for Justice League, that's wrapped and n the can for a release in November.
Heard plays his wife Mera, Queen Of Atlantis, and was pictured in costume on the Icelandic location shoot for Justice League this past October.
In their upcoming standalone project, slated for a 2018 release, Momoa's Arthur Curry learns he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis and must step forward to serve his people and save the world.
