Kellyanne Conway is defending the red, white and blue military-style coat she sported during the inauguration after she was ruthless mocked on social media for the patriotic look.

In defending the $3,600 Gucci color block wool coat she sported during President Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony on Friday, Conway told The Hollywood Reporter: 'Sorry to offend the black-stretch-pants women of America with a little color.'

She also blasted 'the public cesspool that is Twitter' where she was heavily criticized and ridiculed for her 'colorful' outfit. 

Conway said that on Twitter, she is often called 'ugly, stupid, liar, meth queen.'

In one meme, the strategist who managed Trump’s presidential campaign, was compared to Paddington Bear's blue Duffel coat and red topper

Another meme compared Conway to actress Kirsten Dunst in the 1999 beauty pageant movie Drop Dead Gorgeous.

After Conway, who is Counselor to the President, stepped out in the fervid luxury coat she told NBC Bay Area that she dubbed it as 'Trumps Revolutionary Wear'.

The 50-year-old Republican even did a dance for the camera to show off the pricey coat she wore for the ceremony. 

Not long after, she instantly became an internet meme where she was lambasted on social media with countless insults.
