Doutzen Kroes pays homage to her Dutch roots as she models sexy tulip-embossed top with ruffled mini-skirt at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week

She's enjoyed an enduring career as one of fashion's most coveted models.

So it was little wonder that Doutzen Kroes was among those selected to walk the runway for Ulyana Sergeenko at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week on Wednesday.

And as she took to the catwalk for the Russian designer's Spring/Summer '17 show, Doutzen appeared to be paying homage to her Dutch roots, as she modelled a grey top with tulips embossed over each breast.

Strutting her stuff: Doutzen Kroes walked the runway for Ulyana Sergeenko's Spring/Summer '17 collection at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week on Wednesday

The 32-year-old stunner looked sensational as she put her endless legs on display in a thigh-skimming ruffled black miniskirt, teamed with light-coloured heels.

With her golden tresses slicked back in high fashion style, the mother-of-two added a dramatic touch to her showcased ensemble with a chainmail jewelled choker.

Among the other models also seen modelling for the brand was Russian beauty Natalia Vodianova, who wowed in a plunging black dress.

Flower: In a nod to her Dutch roots, the beauty wore an off-shoulder top embossed with tulips

Such a gem: She teamed the ensemble with an eye-catching jewelled chainmail choker

Victoria's Secret Angel Doutzen recently partnered with lingerie retailer Hunkemoller for a new fitness line, after joining as a brand ambassador in 2016.

Speaking about the collection and her style in general, she said: 'To design a sports collection is a dream coming true. I love wearing the items of the collection in combination with street style.'

Doutzen has two children with her husband of six years, DJ James Sunnery: son Phyllon, six, and daughter Myllena, two.

In good company: Natalia Vodianova was also among the lineup of models for the show

Theme: Ruffled embellishments and laters appeared to be a big part of the show's theme

In 2014, as she awaited the birth of her second child, Doutzen spoke about how she planned to raise her daughter.

'Instead of saying, "You're so beautiful", I'll say, "You're smart", so she'll have different aspirations in life than beauty and modelling,' she told Page six.

'Though I love my job, I'm not changing the world. I'd love for her to study and to have different aspirations. We need to teach girls they can become presidents, and it's not about beauty all the time.'

Boss: Ulyana Sergeenko herself received a standing ovation as she walked the runway

Model behaviour: Backstage, models were seen striking a pose in stunning designs
