The shocking video shows the motorcyclist leaning close to the ground as he whizzes through corners.

But as he passes through turn 12, the racer makes contact with the tarmac, causing the bike to lurch back up and fling him over the handlebars.

Flipping over the front of the bike, the biker is sent sliding across the track - only to be hit by his own out-of-control bike.

As the camera, which was attacked to the rear of the motorcycle, spins around, the rider can be seen careering across the road and onto the grass and gravel.

The rider posted his footage online to mark the third anniversary of the crash, which happened in January 2014.

With the video, he added: 'Enjoy my misery.'

Six months after the accident, the driver said he was 'recovering well', despite recurring issues with his shoulder and back.

'The price you pay for an adrenaline rush,' he said.

'The bike came out of it a lot better than me,' he added.
