Their romance has been going from strength-to-strength over the last few weeks.

And it has now been claimed that Selena Gomez, 24, and new man The Weeknd, 26, talk 'every day' and have a 'sexy and flirty relationship'.

The 26-year-old musician - real name Abel Tesfaye - has been reportedly romancing the Hands To Myself hitmaker since the pair were spotted locking lips earlier this month, and it seems it couldn't be going better.

A source told E! News: 'He really likes her. They text every day. They have a really sexy and flirty relationship. They laugh and like each other's personalities.'

And whilst it seems things are moving quickly between the pair, sources insist they are 'just having fun' for the time being and aren't getting too serious.

The insider added: 'As of now, they are just having fun and enjoying each other.'

Their romance surprised fans since it came just a few months after the Starboy singer split from model Bella Hadid.

In recent weeks, pictures were published showing the new couple hugging and kissing.

TMZ reported that Bella felt 'betrayed' that her ex and Selena moved on so quickly.

Some claimed the Kill Em With Kindness singer broke a girl code, as she and Bella seemed to have been friends before.

However the brunette beauty is reportedly claiming that she and Bella weren't even that close, and she didn't need to give the model a head's up of her new romance, according to TMZ.

A source told the entertainment news site said that the new couple aren't even 'that serious' yet, as they only started 'hanging out' prior to Christmas, and did not spend it together.

Meanwhile, it seems Selena's ex Justin Bieber isn't too happy about their union either.

The Love Yourself hit maker was seen leaving a venue in LA on Friday night when cameras for TMZ caught up with him.

When the 22-year-old Canadian was asked if he'd listen to a song by The Weeknd, he said, 'Hell no I can't listen to a Weeknd song, that's just whack.'

According to HollywoodLife.com, the pop princess was pleased to hear the diss - because she knows it means he's jealous.

'Selena loves the fact that her ex is jealous', a source claimed. 'She knows Justin doesn’t really think The Weeknd’s music is whack.'

'Selena is well aware that Justin wants what he doesn’t have, but as far as she is concerned, he’s missed the bus one too many times.'

Teenage sweethearts Justin and Selena had a famously turbulent romance, dating on and off for five years.
