Police release photo of man after indecent attack on two girls in Baldivis

Police have released images of a man they would like to identify and talk to after two girls were indecently assaulted in a park in Baldivis on Tuesday.

The two girls aged 11 and 12 were playing on the grandstand at Arpenteur Park at around 11.50am when they were approached by a man.

Police want to speak to this man in hope he would assist them with their inquiries.

The man was accompanied by a small, scraggy grey-haired dog, and he engaged the girls in conversation.

The man began speaking to the girls about his dog, and after a few minutes of conversation, he grabbed both the girls and indecently assaulted them.

The girls both screamed, and the man fled.

The girls told their parents about the incident, who then contacted Rockingham Police.

The man is described as being in his early 30s, with fair skin and a medium build. He was wearing shorts, a t-shirt and a cap.

Rockingham Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of the park between 11.30am and 12.30pm who may have seen the incident or the suspect.
