Gwyneth Paltrow the trendsetter is embracing a bizarre new fashion look.
The 44-year-old Goop queen wore extreme wide-leg, dark denim jeans with pleats in the front and large back pockets, cuffed to reveal black, slip-on ankle booties and printed, purple socks.
She wore the quirky ensemble while breezing around town in Brentwood, California on Thursday.
Her thin frame was hidden in over-sized clothing and layers as she made a coffee run in the next neighborhood over.

With her beverage of choice, keys and cell phone in hand, the star made her way across the parking lot in a pale pink bomber jacket featuring gold stripes down the sleeves and blue trip with a white stripe at the edge.
Her golden locks framed her porcelain-toned face as she went about her day wearing minimal makeup.

The Avengers star will be making her way back to television and film this year, with two projects already lined up, according to IMDB.
Gwyneth was announced to play the role of artist Dora Maar in 33 Dias, a Spanish biographical drama about the character's relationship as lover and muse to Pablo Picasso as he painted his mural, Guernica.
She'll also star in the made-for-television movie One Hit Wonders, as part of a group of failed solo artists in the '90s who come together to try to salvage what's left of their careers.
