After having his ventilator switched off, Tony was laid to rest with the wedding dress his bride would have worn.

This fascinating set of photographs dating back 150 years show life inside the Japanese Samurai warrior tribes and their tradition of Harakiri. After a year of investigations, the mystery man of Saddleworth Moor has finally been identified as a 67-year-old pensioner who had travelled to Britain from Pakistan two days before his death. An idiotic driver was caught on camera recklessly risking their life by dangerously overtaking a car - while running a red light. An amusing video has emerged from Los Angeles,of what must be one of the most guilty-looking dogs ever. The footage, filmed last year, shows the adorable dog standing next to a completely destroyed dog pillow, staring up at his owner while she comically tells him off.

The astonishing rare photographs detail the first ascent of Mount Everest embarked upon by legendary mountaineer George Mallory and his hardy team of adventurers in 1922. The slides, taken by a pioneering photographer who joined the expedition, had sat undiscovered in a classroom cupboard for years until a teacher found them when a school was closed down. Forty years later, the teacher is now putting them up for sale at Lawrences auction house at Crewkerne in Somerset and they are expected to fetch more than £2,000.

This is the hilarious moment a cat pushed its friend down a toilet - before running away leaving it to pull itself out. The cats were playing on top of the toilet and one was a little higher up than the other who was stood on the seat. But as the light-haired feline tried to make its way down to the floor, it pressed on the other's back - pushing it into the toilet. The helpless cat then ended up inside the lavatory and was filmed trying to climb out. Using his own unique method of fishing, the 400lb (180kg) male bear first observed the swimming fish to select his prey.
