Kick off your underwater experience with some of the unique local marine species that call Victoria’s coastal waters home including the spectacular Globe fish and colourful Leatherjacket species.

The Conservation Cove is just a splash of the excellent, educational and engaging experiences to come.

Meet the SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium BREED, RESCUE and PROTECT characters Tyler, Mia and Magnus:

The characters will take visitors on an educational adventure where you can soak up all there is to know about SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium’s many conservation initiatives including turtle rescue and rehabilitation programs and internationally recognised breeding programs.

Conservation and SEA LIFE

Conservation is at the very heart of SEA LIFE globally, and together with our network of over 40 other SEA LIFE aquariums around the world, we help promote conservation of marine habitats and animals, as well as actively help fund projects and initiatives.

We aim to inform and educate the public on marine conservation issues and inspire people to do their bit to help maintain healthy oceans and the amazing array of animals that live in them. After all - without healthy oceans, life on earth cannot be sustained.
