Joyce Compton
Not to be confused with British actress Betty Compton.
Joyce Compton (January 27, 1907 – October 13, 1997) was an American actress.
Biography
She was born Olivia Joyce Compton in Lexington, Kentucky. (Despite frequent erroneous statements to the contrary, her name was not originally "Eleanor Hunt"; she had appeared in the film Good Sport (1931) with Hunt and this confusion in an early press article followed Compton throughout her career.) After graduating high school she spent two years studying at the University of Tulsa, studying dramatics, art, music and dancing. She won a personality and beauty contest and spent two months in a film studio as an extra.
Compton first made a name for herself when she was named one of the WAMPAS Baby Stars in 1926, alongside Mary Brian, Dolores Costello, Joan Crawford, Dolores del Río, Janet Gaynor and Fay Wray. Compton appeared in a long string of mostly B-movies from the 1920s through the 1950s. She was a comedy actress and protested at being stereotyped as a "dumb blonde".

Tony "T-Rob" Robinson tells his life story in his documentary T.ROB "THE QUIET GIANT". Robinson a native of Cincinnati raised in Over-The-Rhine with a dream to succeed in the Entertainment Industry got his big break In the Mid 1990's signing with Warner Bros Records and Films while singing with a local group called Cold Premiere. This Documentary features various A-List celebrities like Carmen Electra, Jamie Foxx, and many more who pay homage to Robinson for playing such an important role in their careers and why some of them are still around today.
Tony "T.Rob" Robinson, Born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio knew at an early age that he was destined to be on stage in front of large crowds of people but how many he would soon find out. His mom Joyce Robinson being a dancer and father Frankie "Kash" Waddy legendary drummer for George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelics and Bootsy's Rubber Band wasn't hard to understand why Robinson felt those intuitions early in life those intuitions proved to be accurate. By the time Robinson was in high school he and four other childhood friends formed a Boy Band called Cold Premiere, which soon became a household name in Cincinnati bringing down the house whenever they performed.
Cold Premiere would go on to saturate their hometown city of Cincinnati performing in basically throughout the city at least twice, left the group wanting to take their skills to the next level. The boys decided in order to move to that next level a move to Hollywood California would be their best move and within six months of being in Los Angeles Cold Premiere became the talk of Tinsel Town every major record company wanted a piece of the five likable guys from Cincinnati. After various bidding wars from several of the majors the guys decided to Inked a multi year recording deal with the Warner Brothers Recording Group making them the first R&B; Boy Band to sign with Warner and Cincinnati's first Boy Band to sign with a major label as well as make an appearance in a major motion picture on Warner Bros. Pictures. Cold Premiere went on to make featured appearances in both film (Class Act- Kid & Play) and television (Natalie Cole's Big Break). In that same year Robinson also signed a multi year publishing deal with A&M; Publishing as a songwriter. Eventually owning his own record company he has seen and done it all.
Now after a 10 year hiatus from the fast pace Industry to become a new father Tony "T.Rob Robinson has returned back to the Industry with a documentary called T.Rob "The Quiet Giant" and Hollywood is buzzing again. The Quiet Giant plans to share his story of ups & downs and the role he played in the careers of some of today's hottest stars. Tony "T.Rob" Robinson a Giant he definitely will always be, however he is no longer the "QUIET" One.

Michelle Long grew up in Compton, California where she is a volunteer leader with the non-profit Compton Initiative, an organization that has spruced up more than 400 homes, 23 schools, and dozens of community centers in the last eight years.
As the only child of a single mother who worked two jobs to make ends meet, Michelle volunteers countless hours in addition to working a full time job. She dedicates much of her time to service by organizing hundreds of volunteers each clean up day. She starts weeks in advance by walking the neighborhoods looking for homes that need work.
In a community that has a violent crime rate that is more than double the U.S. average, many Compton residents say a fresh coat of paint is like a fresh start and makes them feel a sense of community support. Many of the recipients who get their homes repainted pay it forward on the next service day by volunteering and helping their neighbors.
5-Hour ENERGY® surprised Michelle with a check for $50,000. After screaming with joy, Michelle said it would help with future service days.
