Dennis Dreith
Dennis Dreith (born June 15, 1948) is a motion picture music composer, arranger, and conductor. He is also known as an influential advocate for studio musician's rights.
Life
A native Californian born in Glendale, Dreith showed a talent for music at an early age. He learned to play a variety of keyboard and reed instruments while still in his teens. He formed a jazz combo in the late 1960s; the late music promoter Raymond D. Bowman (1917–2001) scheduled them for a number of Monday night concerts at the legendary Ice House in Pasadena.
Career
Dreith grew to work as a musician in the film music industry and eventually worked with the Recording Musicians' Association (RMA), becoming its president, a post he held for over 15 years.
Although Dreith has been the composer for such films as Purple People Eater (1988), The Punisher, and Gag (2005), he has never scored a major motion picture theatrical release. The Punisher was released in theaters worldwide except in the US (because of the studio's bankruptcy). He is better known in the industry as an orchestrator and conductor of film music scores. His work (often uncredited) can be heard in the soundtracks of Jurassic Park, Misery, Braveheart, Addams Family, Sleepless in Seattle, Heart and Souls, A League of Their Own and others. He has been providing services to several well-known composers. Among them, John Williams, Lalo Schifrin, Dominick Frontiere, Marc Shaiman, Hans Zimmer, Elliot Goldenthal, Mark Isham and Cliff Eidelman.

Punisher
The Punisher is a fictional antihero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by writer Gerry Conway and artist John Romita, Sr., with publisher Stan Lee providing the name. The Punisher made his first appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man #129 (cover-dated Feb. 1974).
The Punisher is a vigilante who employs murder, kidnapping, extortion, coercion, threats of violence, and torture in his war on crime. Driven by the deaths of his wife and two children, who were killed by the mob during a shootout in New York City's Central Park, the Punisher wages a one-man war on the mob and all criminals in general by using all manner of conventional war weaponry. His family's killers were the first to be slain. A war veteran of the U.S. military, Frank Castle is a master of martial arts, stealth tactics, guerrilla warfare, and a wide variety of weapons.
The Punisher's brutal nature and willingness to kill made him a novel character in mainstream American comic books in 1974. By the late 1980s, he was part of a wave of psychologically troubled antiheroes and at the height of his popularity, was featured in three monthly publications, including The Punisher War Journal, The Punisher War Zone, and The Punisher Armory. Despite his violent actions and dark nature, the Punisher has enjoyed some mainstream success on television, making guest appearances on Spider-Man: The Animated Series and The Super Hero Squad Show, where the depiction of his violent behavior was toned down for family viewers. In feature films, Dolph Lundgren portrayed the Punisher in 1989, as did Thomas Jane in 2004, and Ray Stevenson in 2008. Jon Bernthal will portray the character in the second season of Marvel's Daredevil, set to premiere in 2016.

Special guest presentations are made by composers like Chris Hajian (First Position, Inspector Gadget 2), music editor Missy Cohen (Nurse Jackie, Bored to Death) and Dennis Dreith (composer, arranger, conductor and CEO Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund).
All five composers record their scores with a 15-piece ensemble at NYC's MSR Studios. The Workshop films are screened, along with many other student films, at the annual Columbia University Film Festival in May/June in New York and Los Angeles. The Workshop films have all screened at numerous international film festivals, including Sundance, SXSW and Cannes, and have gone on to win numerous awards. Three of the films have won the student Academy Award.

ASCAP/Columbia University Film Scoring Workshop
with support from The ASCAP Foundation Irving Caesar Fund
sponsored by Film Musician's Secondary Markets Fund, Local 802 AFM, AFM/SAG-AFTRA FUND and MSR Studios.
ASCAP partners with the Film Division at Columbia University to produce the ASCAP/Columbia University Film Scoring Workshop. The program is taught by Alex Steyermark, director of The 78 Project, Losers Take All, One Last Thing, Prey for Rock and Roll and music supervisor for directors Ang Lee, Spike Lee, among many others.
Four 20 to 30 minute short films are selected, along with the Columbia University Film Festival Trailer. All are scored by ASCAP composers under the expert guidance of Steyermark, who leads the filmmaker-composer teams through the film scoring process, from hiring a composer to mixing the recorded score. Special guest presentations are made by composers like Chris Hajian (First Position, Inspector Gadget 2), music editor Missy Cohen (Nurse Jackie, Bored to Death) and Dennis Dreith (composer, arranger, conductor and CEO Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund).
All five composers record their scores with a 15-piece ensemble at NYC's MSR Studios. The Workshop films are screened, along with many other student films, at the annual Columbia University Film Festival in May/June in New York and Los Angeles. The Workshop films have all screened at numerous international film festivals, including Sundance, SXSW and Cannes, and have gone on to win numerous awards. Three of the films have won the student Academy Award.

Mumbai. Andheri Police took action arresting 15 boys accused of raping and sexually assaulting a 16-year-old for the past one year. The year long rape torture came to an end after the victim spoke about it to his friend two days ago after feeling ‘unbearable pain’ since the last assault on June 26.
