Theresa Mary May (née Brasier; born 1 October 1956) is a British Conservative Party politician who has been Home Secretary of the UK since 2010.
May was first elected to Parliament in 1997 as the Member of Parliament for Maidenhead. She went on to be appointed Chairman of the Conservative Party and was sworn of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council in 2002.
She served in a number of roles in the Shadow Cabinets of William Hague, Iain Duncan Smith, Michael Howard and David Cameron, including Shadow Leader of the House of Commons and Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary.
When David Cameron became Prime Minister in 2010, May was appointed Home Secretary and Minister for Women and Equalities, giving up the latter role in 2012.
Born on 1 October 1956 at Eastbourne, Sussex, May is the daughter of Hubert Brasier, an Anglican clergyman and Zaidee (née Barnes) Brasier.
May was educated at primary and grammar schools in the State sector, as well as a short spell at an independent Catholic school. She initially attended Heythrop Primary School, Oxfordshire, followed by St. Juliana's Convent School for Girls, a Roman Catholic independent school in Begbroke, which closed in 1984. At the age of 13, she won a place at the former Holton Park Girls' Grammar School in Wheatley, Oxfordshire. In 1971, the school was abolished and became the site of the new Wheatley Park Comprehensive School during her time as a pupil. May then went to the University of Oxford where she read Geography at St Hugh's College, graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in 1977.
The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, commonly known as the United Kingdom (UK) or Britain, is a sovereign state in the European Union. Lying off the north-western coast of the European mainland, it includes the island of "Great Britain" (a term also applied loosely to refer to the whole country), the north-eastern part of the island of Ireland and many smaller islands.Northern Ireland is the only part of the UK that shares a land border with another state—the Republic of Ireland. Apart from this land border, the UK is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, with the North Sea to its east, the English Channel to its south and the Celtic Sea to its south-southwest. The Irish Sea lies between Great Britain and Ireland. With an area of 93,800 square miles (243,000 km2), the UK is the 80th-largest sovereign state in the world and the 11th-largest in Europe. It is also is the 21st-most populous country, with an estimated 64.5 million inhabitants.
The United Kingdom is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system of governance. Its capital city is London, an important global city and financial centre with an urban population of 10,310,000, the fourth-largest in Europe and second-largest in the European Union. The current monarch—since 6 February 1952—is Queen Elizabeth II. The UK consists of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. The latter three have devolved administrations, each with varying powers, based in their capitals, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Belfast, respectively. The nearby Isle of Man, Bailiwick of Guernsey and Bailiwick of Jersey are not part of the United Kingdom, being Crown dependencies with the British Government responsible for defence and international representation.

Speaking on the eve of the election, Prime Minister Theresa May tells Jon Snow she will be "difficult" and "stand up for Britain" in the Brexit negotiations. On criticism of her so-called "dementia tax", she says she was right to be open about the "challenges" Britain faces from an ageing society. She adds that when she was home secretary, she ensured that the police and security services were given extra powers, and intends to boost security after the London Bridge attacks by reviewing human rights laws. Justice Garnham delivered a historically important judgement today for the health of British people. He ordered the government to come into compliance with clean air laws as soon as possible. They’re now going to have to do it. They have decided not to appeal, and we’re negotiating with them about how quickly they can actually do this. I’m very pleased that the Court has held the government to the law. It makes you proud of being in a democracy. What must happen now is that the government needs to go away and come up with a much tighter plan. It needs to redo its modelling, it needs to put in better and bigger clean air zones, and prohibit the dirtiest vehicles from coming into London and the other cities where there are air pollution problems. Theresa May should come forward and really ...

standing in the bedroom
looking like she wants to
wants to please
Did you ever think that
you were in the wrong room

She's so sexual
She's so sexual
She's so sexual
Do you think she sees you
spying throuh her window
Do you think she likes it
or is she aware
Standing in the bedroom

do you think she likes it
her personal voyeur
She's so sexual
She's so sexual

She's so sexual
She could make you happy
She could make you smile
She could make you happy
She would blow your mind
