Jelebu is the second largest district in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia after Jempol, consisting more than 40,000 in population. Jelebu borders with the Seremban district, Jempol district, Kuala Pilah district, Pahang and Selangor. Jelebu is a suburban district with blossoming semi-agricultural industry.Jelebu was one of the districts that produced some of the world’s best quality rubber and steel. Pineapple production there is ranked one of the top in Peninsular Malaysia. For some unknown reasons, Jelebu is home to some of the state’s biggest and most advanced rehabilitation centers. Kuala Klawang town is the administrative center of Jelebu District which houses important offices such as the police headquarters, Jelebu District Council, Cultural Museum and the Jelebu Library. The main towns of Jelebu District is Titi, Simpang Durian, Simpang Pertang, Pertang and Sungai Lui.Local transportation-wise, bus & taxi services are always available for local residents who wish to travel within the town, to other towns within Negeri Sembilan, or to outstation.
