Police have released images of a man they would like to identify and talk to after two girls were indecently assaulted in a park in Baldivis on Tuesday.

The two girls aged 11 and 12 were playing on the grandstand at Arpenteur Park at around 11.50am when they were approached by a man.

The man was accompanied by a small, scraggy grey-haired dog, and he engaged the girls in conversation.

The man began speaking to the girls about his dog, and after a few minutes of conversation, he grabbed both the girls and indecently assaulted them.

The girls both screamed, and the man fled.
