She may have been dressed in a casual vintage-style T-shirt and jeans, but Pixie Lott let her hair do the talking as she attended a salon launch on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old singer and actress showed off her tousled mop of blonde curls for the London event, held at Albert's, which saw her strike a number of poses in front of a mirror.

Pixie sported dark eye make-up and dusky pink lipstick for her appearance, teaming the outfit with lace up black boots.

Pixie later swapped her casual black outfit for a clinging dress with shoulder cut outs as she stepped out at the National Television Awards red carpet.

The star was joined at the event by her fiance Oliver Cheshire who looked dapper in a black leather jacket, black jeans and a grey scarf.

The Boys And Girls hitmaker got engaged in November, and a month later, the blonde beauty told MailOnline that she still has not fully processed that she is engaged.

'It's still sinking in because I wasn't expecting it!' she admitted.

The singer went on to explain that her surprise was heightened by the fact that she was fresh off a long and tiring flight from LA when it happened.

She continued:'I just burst into tears [when it happened]. I was so tired and jet lagged as I'd just got back from LA and we'd been at a wedding party the night before...

'I'd had no sleep, so I just burst into tears, for once I was speechless!' before she added with laughter: 'My mascara went everywhere!'

The loved-up duo both took to their Instagram accounts to share the happy news - with Pixie sharing a photo of her dazzling diamond ring, adding simply in the photo's caption: 'so happy.'

Pixie also added that did not want to wait too long to marry her handsome beau: 'If I don't get time to do it then it'll definitely by 2018 for sure.'

Meanwhile, Pixie was joined at the launch by a smattering of celebrities including Christine Lampard and husband Frank.
