'Greed and deception': Sherri Shepherd sounds off after court nixes ex-husband Lamar Sally's request for more child support money
Sherri Shepherd had plenty to get off her chest Tuesday after a California judge denied a child support raise to Lamar Sally, the ex-husband she's contentiously battled it out with the past few years.
The 49-year-old TV star couldn't hold back, as she vented on Twitter following the court ruling, after Sally filed papers last month pushing for more money to raise their son, Lamar Sally, Jr. Sally - who was married to the Precious actress less than three years before their May 2014 separation - is currently getting $6,400 a month in support, in addition to healthcare and insurance from his ex.
The Chicago native said on Twitter Tuesday that she's 'always offered to financially care for my ex-husband’s son,' who was conceived with Sally's sperm and a donor's egg, with surrogate Jessica Bartholomew giving birth to the boy August 5, 2014.

Speaking out: Sherri Shepherd, 49, took to Twitter Tuesday after a California court denied her ex husband Lamar Sally's request for more child support. The beautiful actress was snapped last week in Pasadena
Sounding off: The TV star implied that her ex wants her to fully support him in a series of tweets
Better times: The Trial & Error beauty was snapped with her ex Sally and her older son, Sherri, in this April 2013 shot
Sally's demand were unfair and 'allowed him to not work,' The View personality said in a tweet, offering specifics on Sally's career (as a writer and substitute teacher) and work schedule.
'My ex-husband says he works part-time 20-30 hours a week, I work a min of 15-hours a day,' wrote Shepherd, adding she believed Sally was asking for 'an amount borne from greed and deception.'
She declared, 'I have always had to hustle to take care of mine.'
Hard-working: The actress said she's 'always had to hustle to take care of' herself, often working at least 15-hour days
The Jean of the Joneses star downplayed Sally's statements in court docs that Lamar Jr. has 'a life threatening blood disorder' called G6PD,
'It’s actually common amongst black males … my son Jeffrey also has it,' she said.
The TV personality - who has a son named Jeffrey with her first husband Jeff Tarpley - made clear she was displeased with the financial arrangements she has with both men.
Stunning: The show business star groused over her two exes, adding the searing hashtags, '#getalife' and '#getajob'
'How many ex husbands does it take to get money from a single mom. Two. #dumb and #dumber #getalife #getajob,' she tweeted. She noted that she learned in court docs that Tarpley 'has been feeding' information to Sally.
The Less than Perfect actress eventually apologized to her followers 'for all ex-husband tweets,' saying that while she accepts the 'consequences of bad choices' she's made, 'never in [her] wildest dreams' did she think that the situations would take the turns they have.
The 30 Rock star wrapped up the diatribe in saying she was going 'to put this mimosa down and log off twitter before ex hauls me back in court for making him look like a gold digger.'
Following the ruling in court Tuesday, Shepherd's agents issued a statement to People crowing about their client's 'huge victory' in family court.
'Sally and his counsel were humiliated as the judge flat out denied his request,' they said.
The reps, noting the geographic implications swirling around the legal situation, added that 'the California judge agreed with Shepherd’s counsel Terry Levich Ross, Esq. and determined that by Sally’s own agreement in two separate legal judgments, New Jersey has exclusive and ongoing jurisdiction over this child support issue and all matters must be dealt with only in that state.'
Catbird seat: Shepherd's reps noted in a statement that if Sally attempted to change child support orders in New Jersey, he could see his monthly totals dip since she's paying more than the minimum
They noted that Shepherd is paying more than she's legally mandated to in New Jersey and Sally was risking seeing 'his payments reduced substantially' in the Garden State should he pursue the matter there.
'Shepherd now hopes that her ex will stop his frivolous attempts to get more money out of her,' the reps said, 'and will seek gainful employment to take care of his child like any other capable parent.'
