Ale

Ale is a type of beer brewed using a warm fermentation method resulting in a sweet, full-bodied and fruity taste. Historically the terms "beer" and "ale" respectively referred to drinks brewed with and without hops. Over time, "beer" came to refer to all beers, though—after the development of cold fermented beer ("lager")—"ale" came to refer to warm fermented beers only.

Ale, as with most beers, typically has bittering agent(s) to balance the sweetness of the malt and to act as a preservative. Ale was originally bittered with gruit, a mixture of herbs (sometimes spices) which was boiled in the wort prior to fermentation. Later, hops replaced the gruit blend in common usage as the sole bittering agent.

History of ale

Ale, along with bread, was an important source of nutrition in the medieval world, particularly small beer, also known as table beer or mild beer, which was highly nutritious, contained just enough alcohol to act as a preservative, and provided hydration without intoxicating effects. Small beer would have been consumed daily by almost everyone, including children, in the medieval world, with higher-alcohol ales served for recreational purposes. The lower cost for proprietors combined with the lower taxes levied on small beer led to the selling of beer labeled "strong beer" that had actually been diluted with small beer. In medieval times, ale may have been safer to drink than most water (the germ theory of disease was unheard of, and the sterilizing properties of boiling unknown); however, there is no period evidence that people were aware of this nor that they chose to drink ale for this reason. The alcohol, hops, and some ingredients in gruit used to preserve some ales may have contributed to their lower load of pathogens, when compared to water. However, ale was largely safer due to the hours of boiling required in production, not the alcoholic content of the finished beverage.

The Bloomfields

The Bloomfields were an English rock band formed in 1970 by Maurice Gibb, Billy Lawrie and Johnny Harris.

During the 1969-1970 split between the three Gibb brothers (Barry, Robin and Maurice), which temporarily broke up the Bee Gees, Maurice worked on a number of solo projects, Billy Lawrie is the brother of Scottish singer Lulu. The band recorded a new short version of "The Loner" and was released as a single originally recorded by Maurice on his first solo album The Loner, for use as the main title of a film called Bloomfield.The single's B-side was "Homing in On the Next Trade Wind", the song was performed by the Heads, Hands and Feet (Johnny Harris was also member of that band) The Bloomfields recorded another two songs for the film included: "Men of Men" and "Ballet of Freedom" both songs recorded in Nova Sound Studios, London and was not released. They only released one single and they disbanded also in that year.

Andreea Bănică

Andreea Bănică (born 21 June 1978) is a Romanian singer. She was part of the group Exotic, alongside Claudia Pătrăşcanu and Julia Chelaru. She subsequently formed the band Blondy with Cristina Rus. Afterwards, she started a solo career, winning awards at ceremonies including the Romanian Music Awards, Romanian Top Hits, MTV European Music Awards and the Balkan Music Awards. Her songs "Love In Brazil" and "Sexy" reached number one in Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia.

Career

She first came to public attention at the 1998 Mamaia Festival. Along with Claudia Pătrăşcanu and Julia Chelaru, she started the group Exotic. In the two years they were together, the group released three singles ("Watch me", "Sexy" and "A Kiss"), and recorded two albums: Sexxy and Passionate.

Bănică started her solo career after leaving Exotic. In 2001, together with Rus, she formed the group Blondy. The group released three albums (So Close, Part of You, Sweet and Bitter) and a replay. Altogether, Blondy released six videos, and won the award for best dance troupe offered by Radio Romania in 2003. Rus left the band in 2005, launching a solo career. Bănică continued with Blondy. Dansez, Dansez, an album composed by Laurentiu Duta, achieved gold status for sales. Two singles were released, "Lovers" and "Sweet and Bitter".

Kareena Kapoor

Kareena Kapoor (pronounced [kəˈriːnaː kəˈpuːr]; born 21 September 1980), also known by her married name Kareena Kapoor Khan, is an Indian actress who appears in Bollywood films. She is the daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, and the younger sister of actress Karisma Kapoor. Golmaal 3

Golmaal 3 is a 2010 Bollywood action comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and the sequel to the 2008 film Golmaal Returns and the third film in the Golmaal series. The film stars most of the actors from the previous films, including Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade. New additions to the cast include actors Mithun Chakraborty and Kunal Khemu.Principal photography for the film began in March 2010 in Mumbai, Goa and Hyderabad. It was reportedly inspired by Basu Chatterjee's Khatta Meetha (1978), wherein Ashok Kumar and Pearl Padamsee played an old couple marrying with children from their previous marriages, and film's rights were later bought over.

Golmaal 3 was released on 5 November 2010, and received mixed to negative response worldwide. However, the film was eventually declared a blockbuster at the box office and is currently the ninth highest grossing Bollywood film according to worldwide gross collections.In 2014, a Telugu feature film Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummada is a remake of Golmaal with top actors like Mohan Babu, Manchu Vishnu, Manchu Manoj, Varun Sandesh, Raveena Tandon.
