WAAI (100.9 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a mostly classic country music format. Its tower is in Hurlock, Maryland, but broadcasts emanate from its studios in Cambridge, Maryland.
WAAI is a radio station that features a blend of Gold Country—meaning hits of the 70s, 80s and 90s, while also featuring a dose of new country too. A majority of the programming comes from the Jones Radio Network—including middays, nights and weekends.
The station has a decent local ratings history-as being one of MTS Broadcasting's highest billing stations.[citation needed] The station competes directly against 94.3 WINX, which broadcasts from studios in Easton, MD.
