  I wanted so much for these to fit, they are gorgeous boots and would be a nice neutral. They, however, are not meant for anyone who does not have a narrow foot. I have a wide-ish foot (I don't have to order wide), and I could not get into these boots. Even with sizing up. Too bad

  These are my sons favorite shoes. They fit true to size, are very comfy and he just loves them. He wears a size 15 so Zappos is the only place we shop for shoes.

  I finally decided that I needed a pair of Brown boots amongst my sea of Black. I ordered these and 1 other. The others immediately went back (thank you Zappos!). These took me a while to wear - and now I wonder why! I went all day without pain or tired feet. They are a little snug in the front, but I have wide feet and I am hoping they stretch a bit with wear. Also, I ordered a 1/2 size up based on a few other reviews. These boots will be in rotation more.

  I love these boots and get many compliments. I ordered them in my usual size 8 1/2 M and they fit perfectly. I have been wearing these constantly. They are the most comfortable booties and they felt that way on the first day. I wear them all day without any problem.

  I've been a fan of the Ultimate 81 for 10+ years but I really like the black/white combo. At the time I purchased the Serrano, that color combo wasn't available. This shoe whams a very nice look and breathes better than the Ultimate 81. That said, I felt like it was narrower and provided much less arch support. I will wear them but probably wouldn't order again.

  These are lovely light hiking boots. But to get the correct sizing took a bit of patience. Initially ordered in 7 but too short. Then ordered in 7.5. Also too short and no real discernible difference in length between the 7 and 7.5. Wear a 7-7.5 in street shoes. Have a narrow foot and except for the length either of these smaller sizes would have worked. Have a 8 in Sportiva light trail shoes (love them as well) but had tried on a different Sportiva hiking boots at a local store and thought 7 was the size I needed in the hiking boot. Ended up with the 8 although there is probably too much room all round. But the length is finally good and can cinch up the boot to tighten it and wear thicker socks if needed. Haven't worn them except for short foothills hikes but don't think will need much to break them in. Plus they are so light and snazzy looking.

  These look great and keep my feet warm if I am sitting in my recliner. But I can not walk in them. They do not seem true to size and when I do try to walk I walk right out of them. Do not recomend.
