It was the colour that made her a viral sensation around the globe, and despite most thinking she would stay well clear of any white tones to present for Channel Nine at the Allan Border Medal in Sydney on Monday, Julie Snook will wear what she damn pleases and not even Amber Sherlock will tell her otherwise.
It's unclear if it was the reflection from the blue carpet or those pesky flashbulbs, but the 29-year-old news reporter looked to be in an off-white, très on-trend Carla Zampatti, high-necked, Grecian gown with cut-outs at the sides.

In what seemed like a case of deja vu, Snook told reporters her dress was in fact not white, similar to when she tried to convince her co-host Sherlock her shirt was blue in the leaked video that was shared around the world and highlighted even further by US TV host, Jimmy Kimmel.
"It's definitely not white... It's more rose gold," she explained to News Corp.
Whatever the hue, Snook was in keeping with the neutral and metallic tones that led the charge on the night, including ironwoman Candice Warner, who opted for a La Maison Talulah embellished gown to accompany her husband, David Warner, to claim his second successive Allan Border Medal at cricket's night of nights.
Australian cricket captain Steve Smith's girlfriend Dani Willis rocked a figure-hugging, lace cut-out, ivory piece by Sydney-based designer Leah Da Gloria, while Usman Khawaja's fiancee Rachel McLellan chose a princess-cut, pearl-encrusted Jaimie Sortino design with a train to die for.
Offering up some colour was TV presenter Lee Furlong in a simple but chic ankle-skimming, low-cut navy dress to accompany husband Shane Watson.
John Hastings' partner Brianna made sure to stand out in an emerald green, backless jumpsuit, that divided some critics.
While cricketer Alex Blackwell and her wife Lynsey Askew coordinated their looks in rich blue and red tones.
