Mitchell Starc ends it
Shoaib Malik will not come out to bat and Mitchell Starc has finished this match with a full and straight ball that Wahab Riaz attempted to slog. Riaz missed, Starc hit the stumped and this game is over. Pakistan all out for 312, a 57 run win for Australia.

Australia win the series 4-1
That concludes our live blog of the fifth and final One Day International, a comprehensive victory for Australia. David Warner and Travis Head laid the platform for Australia with a 284 run opening stand. From there, Pakistan had no hope and ultimately they lost by 57 runs. Australia win the series 4-1.

Zampa picks up a wicket
A sharp bit of keeping from Matthew Wade sees Hasan Ali stumped for 13. Just one over to go now.

Another dropped catch
Adam Zampa has put down Wahab Riaz. He came running in and made a diving effort before getting two hands to the ball and grassing it.
2 overs to go now, Pakistan require 66 to win.
Such is the desperation for the Australians to get out of here, Mitchell Starc is running back to his mark in between deliveries. He either has some plans for this evening or is desperate to avoid a fine for a slow over rate.
Back to topThere are Australia Day fireworks going off in the background but at this stage there are no fireworks on the pitch. Australia are trying to clean up the tail, Pakistan are trying to do whatever they can to score runs without getting out.

Faulkner gets his first
After a short little cameo, Mohammad Amir has fallen. Bowled by James Faulkner, caught by Glenn Maxwell after skying one, Amir trudges off for 17 off 14 balls. Pakistan now 282/7, maybe they won't get to 300.
GOT HIM! Faulkner gets in on the act now. Amir skies one and Maxwell does the rest. Pakistan fall to 7-282 (44.4) #AUSvPAK

Akmal falls
Akmar has flashed at a wide Pat Cummins delivery and picked up a thick edge. Matthew Wade had no issues with that one. Pakistan now 6/276.
Edged and gone! Cummins has another one. Akmal departs for 46. Pakistan now 6-276 in the 44th over #AUSvPAK

Josh Hazlewood has bowled his 10 overs and he was quite expensive, 1/74 were his final figures.
Back to topThis came from Ian Healy not too long ago. Pakistan will likely top 300 for the first time this series, but still lose.
"Unfortunately Pakistan will make their highest ODI score of the summer but they may still lose by 70 odd runs."
Update on Shoaib Malik
We have an update on Shoaib Malik who retired hurt after bing hit on the forearm by a Pat Cummins bouncer.
Shoaib Malik has swelling & numbness in arm, no immediate sign of fracture and will bat if needed but likely to have x-ray later #AUSvPAK

Diving Starc claims Rizwan
Mithcell Starc can do everything. He's picked up three wickets with the ball and now he's taken a superb diving catch. He dove forward, just managed to put his hands underneath that and after a quick look by the third umpire, the wicket is given.
With 10 overs to go, Pakistan are 5/246. They require 124 off the last 60 balls to win. It is a tall order.
HE HAS! Rizwan has to go for 6. Cummins the bowler. Pakistan now 5-246 with 10 overs to go... #AUSvPAK

Akmal dropped
Peter Handscomb drops Umar Akmal at long on. Handscomb puts in the effort to get around to catch the ball, leaps, gets two hands to it and puts it down. That's his second error in the field tonight.
Babar falls
Just moments after reaching his century, Babar has been undone by some Josh Hazlewood outswing. Looking to flick the ball to the onside, he got a leading edge and the ball looped to mid on.
GOT HIM! Hazlewood gets Babar for 100 and the tourists are now 4-220 in the 37th over #AUSvPAK pic.twitter.com/ivVzSFZn7U

Century for Babar Azam
A single for Babar and that is his fourth ODI century. He has to now go on with this innings and score close to 200 if he is to win this game for his team.

Babar looking to be second Pakistan batsman to score a century in an ODI against Australia in Australia. He has moved to 94 after hitting back to back boundaries.
Only one Pakistani batsman has scored an ODI hundred vs Australia in Australia, and that was Zaheer Abbas in 1981. #AUSvPAK

200 up for Pakistan
Pakistan has brought up the 200 in the 35th over, they have a huge amount of work to do. It's time for Babar and Akmal to lift the run rate and start looking for some boundaries. Pakistan have just one boundary in the past half an hour.
At this point in the match, Australia were 0/214. It will be a major challenge for Pakistan to win this game, but it's possible for them to go at ten an over for the final 17 overs.
James Faulkner having a bowl now for Australia. Looks like we'll go the entire series without Glenn Maxwell rolling his arm over.
