16 May 2016
"The Tanon Strait lies between the Philippine islands of Negros and Cebus. It is a resting ground for whales, dolphins and home to rare marine plants. As biodiversity comes under threat, locals are getting involved in its protection".
The German public TV service has released an episode for its Global Ideas program, highlighting BIOFIN in the country as part of financial tools to ensure biodiversity is adequately conserved in the Philippines.
Ms. Anabelle Plantilla, BIOFIN project manager in Philippines, talks on biodiversity costing and the need of alignment in terms of budget and sustainable use of biodiversity.
