Taylor Swift is copping it BIG time on Twitter right now. If you’re familiar with Tay Tay’s main objective, you’ll understand that she’s big on #GirlPower.
The fact that she was nowhere to be seen at the epic women’s march over the weekend has many fans questioning her true motives.
Celebs like Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry and Rihanna were among many others who attended the march.
As for Taylor, she sent out a tweet showing her support instead. It didn’t go down too well…
"So much love, pride, and respect for those who marched," she wrote. "I'm proud to be a woman today, and every day."
With so many incredible women using their platform to promote feminism and show their support in the masses, it is interesting that the biggest ‘voice’ for girl-power wasn’t in attendance.
Of course not everyone was pissed off at her for not attending, with the true Swifties coming to her defence and showing their unwavering love and support to their feminist queen.
Taylor has yet to make any comment on why she wasn’t at the march, but with the huge backlash she’s been getting, we’re sure she will have some sort of explanation…
