What is going on everybody, it is thesimulatorgamer here with some more Train Simulator 2016! This video has been long awaited, it is finally the CTA Blue Line! I know, this took a while to get out. The route took countless hours to make, so here it is. We will be in control of a 3200 series train (the Blue Line uses the 2600 series cars, but they have not yet been made. The 3200 series cars are a close second) starting at O'Hare International Airport and ending in Forest Park. We will be making all the stops as if we were a normal Blue Line service train. The developer did a great job with the train scripting; the blend braking is almost perfect, better than anything DTG has done with American equipment. Makes me feel that if someone with this level of skill could develop the NYC Subway System for RailWorks, it would come out pretty decently.

The Chicago Transit Authority has released video of a collision involving an empty moving train, dubbed the "ghost train."
On September 30, 2013 the unmanned four-car train rolled out of the CTA West Side rail yard, accelerated down the Blue Line at a speed of about 24 miles an hour, then crashed into another train loaded with morning commuters at the Harlem station.
WGN Radio received security video from the so-called “ghost train” crash following a Freedom of Information Act request.
The video captures several camera angles the moments just prior to, during and after impact.
Passengers onboard the stopped train can be seen hitting walls, poles, and seats on impact. Many showing signs of bumps and bruises. One man's phone flings out of an open door.
There is confusion immediately after the crash. Many people leave their phones and bags behind to see what happened.
More than 30 passengers aboard the stopped train in Forest Park suffered minor injuries. The City of Chicago has settled lawsuits with some of the victims. There is more litigation pending.
The video also reveals the train without anybody on board makes a complete stop just prior to the crash.
According to an investigation report by the National Transportation Safety Board (which can be found here: http://www.ntsb.gov/investigations/AccidentReports/Pages/RAB1502.aspx water seeped into the cables of two cars leading to errant control signals to be sent to the cars’ power systems. The CTA was also blamed for not properly securing unattended equipment.
Two CTA electrical workers were fired, and two other employees suspended. The collision cost more than $6 million in damage.

A train simulator (also railroad simulator or railway simulator) is a computer based simulation of rail transport operations. They are generally large complicated software packages modeling a 3D virtual reality world, with 'play mode' software which lets the user interact by stepping inside the virtual world. Train Simulator (Dovetail Games)
Train Simulator (originally RailWorks) is a train simulation game developed by Dovetail Games, formerly known as RailSimulator.com. It is the official successor to Rail Simulator, and was released online on 12 June 2009 and in stores on 3 July 2009.
Compared to Rail Simulator, RailWorks contained new rolling stock, tools that previously had to be downloaded separately, graphical advancements such as modification of the existing content, bug fixes, backwards compatibility and the ability to trade elements from the virtual world with other users online. The first release of RailWorks contained all of the five real-world routes of the original European and North American releases of Rail Simulator, and added three new fictional routes: a large UK goods yard, a route set in the Alpine region and a route based around Denver, Colorado.
It is a Steamworks title, which means it uses and requires Steam to activate and to deliver core game updates. Steam is also used to deliver additional routes and locomotives in the form of DLC. The core game has received several free updates since release, including major new versions RailWorks 2: Train Simulator, RailWorks 3: Train Simulator 2012, Train Simulator 2013, Train Simulator 2014, Train Simulator 2015 and Train Simulator 2016 released between 2010 and 2015, respectively.

What is going on everybody, it is thesimulatorgamer here with some more Train Simulator 2016! This video has been long awaited, it is finally the CTA Blue Line! I know, this took a while to get out. The route took countless hours to make, so here it is. We will be in control of a 3200 series train (the Blue Line uses the 2600 series cars, but they have not yet been made. The 3200 series cars are a close second) starting at O'Hare International Airport and ending in Forest Park. We will be making all the stops as if we were a normal Blue Line service train. The Chicago Transit Authority has released video of a collision involving an empty moving train, dubbed the "ghost train." On September 30, 2013 the unmanned four-car train rolled out of the CTA West Side rail yard, accelerated down the Blue Line at a speed of about 24 miles an hour, then crashed into another train loaded with morning commuters at the Harlem station. WGN Radio received security video from the so-called “ghost train” crash following a Freedom of Information Act request. The video captures several camera angles the moments just prior to, during and after impact. Passengers onboard the stopped train can be seen hitting walls, poles, and seats on impact. Many showing signs of bumps and bruises. One man's phone flings out of an open door. There is confusion immediately after the crash. Many people leave their phones and bags behind to see what happened. More than 30 passengers aboard the stopped train in Forest Park suffered minor injuries. The City of Chicago has settled lawsuits with some of the victims. There is more litigation pending. The video also reveals the train without anybody on board makes a complete stop just prior to the crash. According to an investigation report by the National Transportation Safety Board (which can be found here: http://www.ntsb.gov/investigations/AccidentReports/Pages/RAB1502.aspx water seeped into the cables of two cars leading to errant control signals to be sent to the cars’ power systems. The CTA was also blamed for not properly securing unattended equipment. Two CTA electrical workers were fired, and two other employees suspended. The collision cost more than $6 million in damage. -

What is going on everybody, it is thesimulatorgamer here with some more Train Simulator 2016! This video has been long awaited, it is finally the CTA Blue Line! I know, this took a while to get out. The route took countless hours to make, so here it is. We will be in control of a 3200 series train (the Blue Line uses the 2600 series cars, but they have not yet been made. The 3200 series cars are a close second) starting at O'Hare International Airport and ending in Forest Park. We will be making all the stops as if we were a normal Blue Line service train. On September 30, 2013 the unmanned four-car train rolled out of the CTA West Side rail yard, accelerated down the Blue Line at a speed of about 24 miles an hour, then crashed into another train loaded with morning commuters at the Harlem station.
WGN Radio received security video from the so-called “ghost train” crash following a Freedom of Information Act request.
The video captures several camera angles the moments just prior to, during and after impact.
Passengers onboard the stopped train can be seen hitting walls, poles, and seats on impact. Many showing signs of bumps and bruises. One man's phone flings out of an open door.
There is confusion immediately after the crash. Many people leave their phones and bags behind to see what happened.
More than 30 passengers aboard the stopped train in Forest Park suffered minor injuries. The City of Chicago has settled lawsuits with some of the victims. There is more litigation pending.
The video also reveals the train without anybody on board makes a complete stop just prior to the crash.
According to an investigation report by the National Transportation Safety Board (which can be found here: http://www.ntsb.gov/investigations/AccidentReports/Pages/RAB1502.aspx water seeped into the cables of two cars leading to errant control signals to be sent to the cars’ power systems. The CTA was also blamed for not properly securing unattended equipment.
Two CTA electrical workers were fired, and two other employees suspended. The collision cost more than $6 million in damage.

Archeologists are hailing the discovery of an ancient temple built to a pre-Hispanic god of wind in the Tlatelolca neighborhood of what is now Mexico City, IFL Science reported Friday.According to the report, a supermarket was constructed on top of the temple in the middle of the 20th century.
