A video from January 20, taken aboard a NASA sun observing spacecraft, shows three active regions from the sun?s surface. NASA shared the video via Twitter on January 25. According to NASA scientists with the Solar Dynamic Observatory, the region in the center caught the attention of scientists because of the dark swirls of plasma and bright magnetic arches twisting and turning.
