Placing an official notice for a loved one can be a difficult task. If you are unsure of the wording our friendly staff can assist. You may wish to discuss this with the funeral directors handling the arrangements for you. They can guide you through the process and help with suggestions for the wording and they can place the notice on your behalf.

If you wish to place a tribute notice please allow time for proofing and checking your notice. A minimum of 1 hour prior to closing, earlier is preferred. If you would like to include photos or special background/artwork you need to have your notice to The Canberra Times one day prior. Fax and email deadlines are 1 hour prior to phone deadlines.
Tribute notices cannot be placed online.

How much does it cost to place a Tribute Notice in The Canberra Times?
The cost in The Canberra Times is $7.69 (incl. GST) per line for a Saturday and $6.26 (incl GST) Sunday --Friday. The total amount of your advert depends on the number of lines it takes to make up your advert. Photos, borders, artwork and colour backgrounds are available upon request. Our staff will be happy to assist you with costs and any other information you need.
