Korangi

Korangi (Urdu: کورنگی ‎) is the place of hard-working, loving, caring, friendly and Patriotic. It is one of the neighbourhoods of Landhi Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

Korangi is a town in the eastern parts of Karachi, Pakistan, north of the Malir River. It is bordered by Faisal Cantonment and Shah Faisal Town to the north, Bin Qasim Town and Landhi Town to the east and south, Korangi Creek Cantonment to the southwest and Jamshed Town to the west across the Malir River. Many hospitals are located in the area including; Indus Hospital, Chiniot Hospital, East-Side Hospital, Rahmatullah Benevolent Eye Hospital Korangi 2½, Chiniot General Hospital Korangi 2, Govt. Hospital Korangi 5, and Doctor Sultan Hospital Korangi 4.

'''Korangi''' is a town having markets at Korangi 2,4,6 and Mobile market at Korangi 4. Some famous Schools are Nasra School, The Educators, The Smart School, Sarfraz Pilot School, Habib Academy, Modern English School, White Rose School, and Many more. Some sports ground including Nasim Hameed Sports Complex at Korangi 5 are the progressive part of Korangi. The population of Korangi Town was estimated to be about 800,000 in 2012.

Korangi Industrial Area

Korangi Industrial Area (KIA) is located in Korangi Town, in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is one of the largest industrial areas of Pakistan. It houses approximately 3000 facilities for various industries, including textile, steel, pharmaceutical, automobile, chemical, engineering and flour mills. In addition to this it also includes Mehran Town housing scheme initiated in 1973-74 by then Prime Minister Zulfqar Bhutto, for Pakistani Nationals working abroad.

On 14 May 2009, Sindh Minister for Local Government Agha Siraj Khan Durrani suggested renaming the Korangi Industrial Area to "Benazir Industrial Estate", putting it at the Union Council level for approval and then taking it up to Parliament for final approval. Addressing the members of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), the minister stated that Korangi Industrial Area is the largest industrial estate in Pakistan and has played a vital role in contributing revenue to the national exchequer as well as creating employment opportunities.

Industrial Area (Doha)

Industrial Area is a district of Doha, Qatar. It was previously a part of the Al Rayyan Municipality.

Asian Town

Asian Town is a major commercial complex in the Industrial Area. Formerly known as West End Park, it contains many amenities for the district, such as West End Park International Cricket Stadium, an amphitheater, a large shopping mall and three cinema halls. It was built to cater towards the large Asian expatriate population from South Asia and Southeast Asia in Qatar, particularly the Indian, Pakistani, Nepali and Filipino communities.

Demographics

As of the 2010 census, the settlement comprised 29,001 housing units and 4,395 establishments. There were 261,401 people living in the settlement, of which 99.9% were male and 0.1% were female. Out of the 261,401 inhabitants, 99% were 20 years of age or older and 1% were under the age of 20.

Employed persons made up 99.8% of the total population. Females accounted for 0% of the working population, while males accounted for 100% of the working population.

Politics of Pakistan

The Politics in Pakistan (Urdu: پاکستان کی سیاست‎) takes place within the framework under which the country is established by the Constitution. Classified itself as a nation-state in South Asia, Pakistan is an Islamic and federal parliamentary republic with Islam being its state religion. Stipulations set by the Constitution to provide a delicate check and balance of sharing powers between Executive, Parliament, and Judicature are reserved as the federal government shares sovereignty with the provincial governments.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan solely leads the executive government which is independent of the state parliament. A bicameral parliament that is composed of two chambers– the Senate (upper house and the National Assembly (lower house). The Judicature branch forms with the composition of the Supreme Court as an apex court, alongside the high courts and other inferior courts. The judiciary's function is to interpret the Constitution and federal laws and regulations. The President of Pakistan is a ceremonial figurehead who represents the unity of the nation-state; the presidency is a vital part of the Parliament.
