Tirana, the heart and capital of Albania, like all other European metropolises has a never-ending movement and energy. With its clubs, pubs, cafes, and taverns, Tirana is worth to discover, both day and night. The value and hospitality shown towards tourists is something that will mark your journey not only in Tirana but also all over the country. There are different thoughts regarding the origin of the name of the city. Some think that it relates to Tyrrenia (a name of Etruscan origins), while other believe that it relates to the word Theranda (harvest), or to the Tirkan (a castle at the foot of Mount Dajti). Your own journey might begin by visiting the museums and the key spots such as Sheshi Skënderbej, where you will be able to see the Mosque of Et’hem Bey (built between 1798 and 1812) and the 35 m high Kulla e Sahatit (the Watch Tower), built in 1822 with a San Marco style cupola. Moreover, you can visit the famous Mosaic uncovered on the floor of an old Roman lodge. Its center configures the walls of the castle of the Roman emperor Justinian (A.D. 520). The monumental Tomb of Kapllan Pasha and the Ura e Tabakëve (a bridge constructed in the beginning of the 19th century, located on Bulevardi Zhan D’Ark) are other interesting place to visit. As a capital, Tirana has the country’s finest museums, theatres, and galleries representing the national arts. A visit to the National History Museum, the Archeological Museum, the private “Mezuraj Museum,” and the National Gallery of the Arts will leave wonderful memories. You can also pass a pleasant evening in the National Theatre or the Opera and Ballet Theatre.
For dining, Tirana will be glad to offer you both a rich traditional cuisine and a variety of foreign fares, from Italian to Chinese, . There are also several clubs and restaurants in Mount Dajti to discover and enjoy. There is the possibility to travel there by cable car, which is a very special experience. In the region of Tirana you may also visit the castles of Petrela and Preza, as well as some natural attractions, such as Pëllumbasi Cave, Shkalla e Tujanit, and much more.

This beautiful city is not just the capital city of Albania for about last 100 years, it is also the largest city of the country. All important developments, like economic, political and cultural character are happening here. Tirana has also a very educational character, a lot of public and private schools, university and colleges are located in this area.
Almost third of the whole population in Albania lives in Tirana and surroundings. No matter what you visit or explore in Tirana the kindness and affability of the domestic people will meet you. What could you ask more in a foreign city or land?!
As a city with a far history there are a lot of spots which should be visited. Some of them you will recognize in the video, like: view from the Dajti mountain from where you have an amazing view on the whole city and the four artificial lakes (can be reached with the cable car), the Skanderbeg Square with statue and flag, Et´hem Bey Mosque, National Historical Museum, National Art Gallery, Rinia Park, TID Tower, Orthodox Church of the Holy Evangelist Prokop, the former grave of Enver Hoxha, City Park Parku i Madh, Rruga Murat Toptani.

Tirana 
i/tᵻˈrɑːnə/ (Standard Albanian: Tiranë; regional Gheg Albanian: Tirona) is the capital and largest city of Albania.
Tirana became Albania’s capital city in 1920. The population of the city proper at the 2015 census was 610,070 and the municipality of Tirana, created in 2015, has a total population of 800,986 (2015 census).
The city is host to many public institutions and public and private universities, and is the centre of the political, economic, and cultural life of the country.
Geography
The Municipality of Tirana is located at (41.33°N, 19.82°E) in Tirana County, about 32 kilometers (20 mi) inland. Tirana's average altitude is 110 meters (360 ft) above sea level and its highest point measures 1,828 m (5,997.38 ft) at Mali me Gropa. The city is mostly surrounded by hills, with Dajti Mountain on the east and a slight valley opening on the north-west overlooking the Adriatic Sea in the distance. The Tiranë river runs through the city, as does the Lanë stream.
The city has four artificial lakes: the Tirana Artificial Lake around which was built the Big Park, Paskuqani Lake, Farka Lake, Tufina Lake, and other smaller lakes or reservoirs.

La Tirana
La Tirana is a Chilean town in the commune of Pozo Almonte in El Tamarugal Province, Tarapacá Region. The town lies in an oasis in the middle of the Pampa del Tamarugal, about 72 km inland from the port of Iquique.
The town is notable for its religious feast in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. It is celebrated on July 16 of each year, being the most important religious feast of the Norte Grande.

Darío Gómez
Darío de Jesús Gómez Zapata, also known as El Rey del Despecho, (born February 6, 1951 in San Jerónimo, Antioquia) is a Colombian singer and composer of vals, corridos and boleros. His moniker El Rey del Despecho (King of Heartbreak) derives from the more than one thousands songs about heartbreaking love situations. His most well-known song is Nadie es Eterno. He was considered one of the ten best singers of the 1990s in Colombia by the TV y Novelas Magazine for his sales of more than six million copies of his 26 albums; seven as tropical artist, ten as lead singer of the duet Los Legendarios and nine as a solo artist.
Biography
Early years
As a young boy Gomez loved to sing the ranchera genre while picking coffee in the farms of Antioquia. He was discovered as a young boy and started writing songs at the age of 14 while working as a mechanic. He was the fourth child of twelve siblings.
Singing career
He was later hired by a group known as Los Legendarios (Spanish for The Legendaries).

This beautiful city is not just the capital city of Albania for about last 100 years, it is also the largest city of the country. All important developments, like economic, political and cultural character are happening here. Tirana has also a very educational character, a lot of public and private schools, university and colleges are located in this area.
Almost third of the whole population in Albania lives in Tirana and surroundings. No matter what you visit or explore in Tirana the kindness and affability of the domestic people will meet you. What could you ask more in a foreign city or land?!
As a city with a far history there are a lot of spots which should be visited. Some of them you will recognize in the video, like: view from the Dajti mountain from where you have an amazing view on the whole city and the four artificial lakes (can be reached with the cable car), the Skanderbeg Square with statue and flag, Et´hem Bey Mosque, National Historical Museum, National Art Gallery, Rinia Park, TID Tower, Orthodox Church of the Holy Evangelist Prokop, the former grave of Enver Hoxha, City Park Parku i Madh, Rruga Murat Toptani.
