Private Sydney: A Colosimo mistake for Shannon Noll?
The Underbelly star Vince Colosimo, and the singer Shannon Noll, have both come crashing back to Earth this week. Andrew Hornery investigates as to why.
NBC has pulled an episode of Law & Order: SVU, which stars Mariska Hargitay (pictured), inspired by Donald Trump that was to have aired two weeks before the US election.
"I don't know when its going to air," producer Dick Wolf said today at a US media programming showcase.
"The episode is an episode that was written nine months ago, I don't know when it's going to air," he said. "I don't control scheduling of individual episodes."
Despite the fact that the episode's content might seem dated when it finally makes it to air - Trump has since, of course, won the US election - Wolf said he was confident it would air.
"I never pressure the network to schedule anything in a specific way except things like crossover [episodes]," he said.
"I haven't been informed when its going to air, I suspect it will be this spring but I don't know."
Earlier this year Cole told US media he was sceptical it would air because in the wake of Trump's election win the US was "in a whole different ballgame".
"I don't know that anyone's ever going to see [the episode]," Cole said. "I think maybe the thinking was that the outcome was not going to be this outcome and they would show it at some point."
Cole also said it was obvious the episode was based on Trump.
"All you had to do was read the script and know that it was based on him," Cole said.
