Red Hot Summer tour organisers have replaced Braithwaite with The Black Sorrows, featuring Vika and Linda Bull, which they described would be "two very special performances".

Braithwaite has been hospitalised for a mysterious illness in the past, after having to cancel a Cairns gig in February last year while "stricken with something weird" in his throat.

The two Red Hot Summer shows at Mornington are sell-outs, which also feature James Reyne and Taxiride.
