Dimitrious Gargasoulas has been charged with five counts of murder over the deadly drive through Bourke Street, when the 26-year-old allegedly mowed down dozens of people in the CBD.
Angelo Gargasoulas was rushed to hospital early on Friday in a critical condition and it is understood that he was placed in an induced coma.
Over the weekend, Angelo's friends posted a plethora of messages of support on social media.
One friend wrote that her heart sank when she heard he had allegedly been stabbed. "I can't believe something like that would happen to someone as sweet as you," she wrote. "Get well soon, sending all my love".
"Praying for you brother hoping you can pull through this mate," another wrote. "Was only a couple weeks ago when i saw your face last and you where happy as larry now today your fighting for your life. Life can be so cruel."
