The Bajaj Pulsar is a motorcycle brand owned by Bajaj Auto in India. The two wheeler was developed by the product engineering division of Bajaj Auto in association with Tokyo R&D, and later with motorcycle designer Glynn Kerr. Currently there are five variants available, with engine capacities of 135 cc, 150 cc, 180 cc, 200 cc, and 220 cc. Previously it was also offered with a 200 cc DTS-i oil cooled engine, which now has been discontinued. Instead a new version Pulsar 200NS was launched in 2012. But then Pulsar 200NS production was discontinued in August 2015. With an average monthly sales of around 86,000 units in 2011, Pulsar claimed a 2011 market share of 47% in its segment. By April 2012, more than five million units of Pulsar were sold.
Before the introduction of the Pulsar, the Indian motorcycle market trend was towards fuel efficient, small capacity motorcycles (that formed the 80–125 cc class). Bigger motorcycles with higher capacity virtually did not exist (except for Enfield Bullet). The launch and success of Hero Honda CBZ in 1999 showed that there was demand for performance bikes. Bajaj took the cue from there on and launched the Pulsar twins in India on 24 November 2001. Since the introduction and success of Bajaj Pulsar, Indian youth began expecting high power and other features from affordable motorcycles.
A pulsar (short for pulsating radio star) is a highly magnetized, rotating neutron star that emits a beam of electromagnetic radiation. This radiation can be observed only when the beam of emission is pointing toward Earth (much the way a lighthouse can be seen only when the light is pointed in the direction of an observer), and is responsible for the pulsed appearance of emission. Neutron stars are very dense, and have short, regular rotational periods. This produces a very precise interval between pulses that range roughly from milliseconds to seconds for an individual pulsar. Pulsars are believed to be one of the candidates of high and ultra-high energy astroparticles (see also Centrifugal mechanism of acceleration).
The precise periods of pulsars make them useful tools. Observations of a pulsar in a binary neutron star system were used to indirectly confirm the existence of gravitational radiation. The first extrasolar planets were discovered around a pulsar, PSR B1257+12. Certain types of pulsars rival atomic clocks in their accuracy in keeping time.

This new bike is expected to be launched by the end of 2016 or early 2017. The major change will be the new BS-IV engine and the introduction of ABS even on the base model. As per the new norms, all new bikes (with more than 125cc) after March 2017 will have ABS and even BS-IV compliant engines. The 2017 Pulsar RS200 will receive a few styling updates. This will include a new set of alloy wheels. The tyres also may see an upgrade. The suspension would remain the same, with minor tweaks. The ride and handling characteristics of the bike have been good, though not the best so Bajaj will look at improvising on it. The Pulsar RS200 will continue to offer ABS. The regulations next year will make ABS mandatory as well. The improvisations Pulsar RS200 will make it a more desirable bike. --------...

Overview Bajaj Autos had been planning for a fresh looking street fighter in the 150cc category. Named as the Pulsar NS150, the new motorcycle comes up with the attitude of the naked series. Bajaj has made it in such a way that it looks more like a lean NS200 than having its own identity. With the Pulsar DNA in its roots, the aggression of the bike blows away everything which comes in the way. Bajaj has not made any official announcement regarding the launch of NS150 in India. It is expected to be launched in India within next 3-4 months. Bajaj Pulsar NS150 is expected to be priced around Rs. 75,000 (Ex-showroom). Design and Style Sharing the cuts and curves of 200 NS, this 150cc unit is more like an economical version for the same styling. Petal shaped alloy wheels adds up to the style ...
