FILM DESCRIPTION:
It's Christmas time in L.A., and there's an employee party in progress on the 30th floor of the Nakatomi Corporation building. The revelry comes to a violent end when the partygoers are taken hostage by a group of terrorists headed by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), who plan to steal the 600 million dollars locked in Nakatomi's high-tech safe. In truth, Gruber and his henchmen are only pretending to be politically motivated to throw the authorities off track; also in truth, Gruber has no intention of allowing anyone to get out of the building alive. Meanwhile, New York cop John McClane (Bruce Willis) has come to L.A. to visit his estranged wife, Holly (Bonnie Bedelia), who happens to be one of the hostages. Disregarding the orders of the authorities surrounding the building, McClane, who fears nothing (except heights), takes on the villains, armed with one handgun and plenty of chutzpah. Until Die Hard came along, Bruce Willis was merely that wisecracking guy on Moonlighting. After the film's profits started rolling in, Willis found himself one of the highest-paid and most sought-after leading men in Hollywood.

Die Hard
Die Hard is a 1988 American action film directed by John McTiernan and written by Steven E. de Souza and Jeb Stuart. It follows off-duty New York City Police Department officer John McClane (Bruce Willis) as he takes on a group of highly organized criminals led by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), who perform a heist in a Los Angeles skyscraper under the guise of a terrorist attack using hostages, including McClane's wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia), to keep the police at bay.
It is based on Roderick Thorp's 1979 novel Nothing Lasts Forever, the sequel to 1966's The Detective, which was adapted into a 1968 film of the same name that starred Frank Sinatra. Fox was contractually obliged to offer Sinatra the lead role in Die Hard, but he turned it down. The studio then pitched the film to Arnold Schwarzenegger as a sequel to his 1985 action film Commando; he turned it down, as did a host of the era's action stars, and the studio finally and reluctantly gave it to Willis, then known primarily as a comedic television actor.

FILM DESCRIPTION:
It's Christmas time in L.A., and there's an employee party in progress on the 30th floor of the Nakatomi Corporation building. The revelry comes to a violent end when the partygoers are taken hostage by a group of terrorists headed by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), who plan to steal the 600 million dollars locked in Nakatomi's high-tech safe. In truth, Gruber and his henchmen are only pretending to be politically motivated to throw the authorities off track; also in truth, Gruber has no intention of allowing anyone to get out of the building alive. Meanwhile, New York cop John McClane (Bruce Willis) has come to L.A. to visit his estranged wife, Holly (Bonnie Bedelia), who happens to be one of the hostages. Disregarding the orders of the authorities surrounding the building, McClane, who fears nothing (except heights), takes on the villains, armed with one handgun and plenty of chutzpah. Until Die Hard came along, Bruce Willis was merely that wisecracking guy on Moonlighting. After the film's profits started rolling in, Willis found himself one of the highest-paid and most sought-after leading men in Hollywood.

Just what I was looking for! The Die Hard Ankle Rig holster is built from top grain saddle leather and finished on the outside with a super tough PU coating. This combination of materials was originally designed for Federal Law Enforcement with longevity and performance as primary concerns. The smooth leather lining protects the gun's finish and offers a quick, silky draw. The Die Hard Ankle Rig features a tough top grain leather lined holster with a conventional thumb break that has been attached to a neoprene leg band. The leg band is both padded with foam and lined with sheepskin. This holster is very well made. The holster itself looks great, which is almost too bad it's a concealed holster. The interior is raw hide, which might wear on your pistol's finish (although the same can be said of any surface that provides friction). The stitching is thick, and the belt clip keeps the pistol securely in place. I did a bit of research on concealed holsters before I ordered this one (this is my first) and it seems a lot of people recommend buying bigger clothes if you're going to wear a concealed pistol. I don't know if some holsters are just thicker, but this particular one fits inside my waist band just fine. I wear proper sized pants, that don't require a belt to hold up, and this holster fits in just fine. I'm in decent shape, so maybe that plays a factor in the pant size others recommend. I never liked and still don't like this first part of the game. It is way to long and just keeps rotating the same 4 or 5 maps. The controls are a little cumbersome which makes it look like Mclane is drunk the whole way through. I don't worry to much about the different weapons and the start, but later on the machine guns help greatly. The Explosive shotgun can be very annoying as it is way to easy to hit the hostages, and I could find no drop weapon function.

This is the best part of the game and the whole reason it was bought and makes use of lightgun (Pad play is shown here). It's on rails with some great music. The game gets realy difficult near the church and snowski sections as it becomes far to easy to shoot the hostages and lots of stuff shooting at you at once.
02:54:20 Die Hard with a Vengeance
Another section I never liked very much, but only because it has some really evil time limits which take you right down to the last millisecond as there is not much if any room for error, especially on later levels making the game very frustrating at times. In some levels, you can swap cars for different characteristics and mission suitability, but due to the above time issues, you can really waste time to do the car swap so I don't show this aspect often.
One thing that stands out about this driving section is how smooth it can be and how colourful it is. Sure the cars have a low poly count but its 1996. This game makes driver which came out in 1999 look old. Also, another aspect which is probably not in many driving games, and never likely to be is the blood splatter in cockpit view. It makes quite a mess when running over a pedestrian and the wipers come on to clean it a way. This is what GTA should have been when it came to playstation Wink
