Strawberry Fair, Free Music Festival, Cambridge
A free, one day festival in Cambridge, 4th June 2005.

The Strawberry Fair is billed as a 'local festival of music, entertainments, arts and crafts' and it takes place on Midsummer Common, Cambridge every year.
The festival has been running for thirty years and has evolved into one of the largest, free, open-air festivals of its kind in the country. We like it!
Strawberry Fair is a volunteer-run event, put on by the people of Cambridge for the people of Cambridge.
The day starts off with with a traditional themed Strawberry Fair parade through the city centre - this year's theme was 'the shimmering underwater world'.
On the site, there's a wide selection of acts performing on the East Stage (main stage), the Bigwam, Reggae Stage, Acoustic Stage (in the beer tent), Future Stage (young performers) and the Theatrikals Tent.

'Born a Rocker, Die A Rocker' proclaims the t-shirt as a folk band do their jiggly stuff inside the capacious beer tent.
A wide selection of real ales were on offer, including Bishops Farewell, JHB, White Dwarf and Black Hole porter.
Strawberry Fair attracts a wide and diverse group of people, including local hipsters, ancient crusties, folkie types and nearby families enjoying a free day out with their kids.
Metaaaaalll!!! This curious bloke clipped on a micro-sized Marshall amp to a nearby bin and then proceeded to rock out at somewhat subdued volume.
