Well firstly, should I say I finally achieved one of my goals for a long time - Getting a compilation under the hour mark, this time clocking in at 49 mins, huge contrast to the 90 min vids I've been doing lately.
Filmed on the 18/07/16, the day before the hottest day of the year so far in Britain, with temperatures on the 18th reaching 28 celsius at Heathrow, the following day 33 celsius was recorded - That's hot for us!
The video is filmed between 4:30-09:00, sadly as I was setting up the First arrival of the day, a BA A380 landed, so I didn't manage to catch this one, but I got the second arrival onwards. All of which are heavies excluding 3 - The early morning arrival of Air Canada's A319 from St John's, a KLM 737-900 in Skyteam livery and an Austrian A321 aborting landing (Previous Aircraft had failed to vacate runway in time).
This video includes a good variety of Heavies from all around the world, actually I caught atleast one plane from every continent, of which include BA heavies, Virgin heavies, United, American and a few Delta heavies, some A380's including Etihad, Thai, Qatar and more, a few 787's including Air India, Royal Brunei and more, and of course this video also include's Finnair's stunning A350-900XWB, OH-LWE - One of their newest! I didn't manage to catch everything that arrives between 6-7am such as Emirates some more BA A380's, Delta's 757 and more due to them using RW27R - 6am-7am is LHR's rush hour and both runways are in use at this time - I did film some 27R arrivals, but there's a load of trees and lamp posts obscuring the view :( Fortunately I caught what I wanted - RBA and SAA

Heathrow Airport
Heathrow Airport (IATA: LHR, ICAO: EGLL) is a major international airport in west London, England. Heathrow is the busiest airport in the United Kingdom, busiest airport in Europe by passenger traffic, and sixth busiest airport in the world by total passenger traffic. In 2014, it handled a record 73.4 million passengers, a 1.4 percent increase from 2013.
Heathrow lies 12 nautical miles (22 km; 14 mi) west of Central London, and has two parallel east–west runways along with four operational terminals on a site that covers 12.14 square kilometres (4.69 sq mi). The airport is owned and operated by Heathrow Airport Holdings, which itself is owned by FGP TopCo Limited, an international consortium led by the Spanish Ferrovial Group that includes Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Government of Singapore Investment Corporation. Heathrow is the primary hub for British Airways and the primary operating base for Virgin Atlantic.
In September 2012, the UK government established the Airports Commission, an independent commission chaired by Sir Howard Davies to examine various options for increasing capacity at UK airports. The commission shortlisted two options for expanding Heathrow in its interim report in 2013, along with a third option for expanding Gatwick Airport. The final report, published on 1 July 2015, backed a third runway at Heathrow.

Airport
An airport is an aerodrome with facilities for flights to take off and land. Airports often have facilities to store and maintain aircraft, and a control tower. An airport consists of a landing area, which comprises an aerially accessible open space including at least one operationally active surface such as a runway for a plane to take off or a helipad, and often includes adjacent utility buildings such as control towers, hangars and terminals. Larger airports may have fixed base operator services, airport aprons, air traffic control centres, passenger facilities such as restaurants and lounges, and emergency services.
An airport with a helipad for rotorcraft but no runway is called a heliport. An airport for use by seaplanes and amphibious aircraft is called a seaplane base. Such a base typically includes a stretch of open water for takeoffs and landings, and seaplane docks for tying-up.
An international airport has additional facilities for customs and immigration.
In warfare, airports can become the focus of intense fighting, for example the Battle of Tripoli Airport or the Battle for Donetsk Airport, both taking place in 2014. An airport primarily for military use is called an airbase or air station.

Andra and The BackBone
Andra and The BackBone is a rock band from Indonesia and the solo project of Andra Ramadhan, guitarist of the band Dewa 19. Ramadhan also formed part of fellow Dewa band member Ahmad Dhani's Ahmad Band project.
In addition to Ramadhan, the band also consists of Deddi Suryadi, Stevie Item.
The band released its self-titled debut album in 2007 on EMI Indonesia. The album was also released in Malaysia but with different artwork.
The album's first single, "Musnah", became a big hit in Indonesia, reaching the top of many national radio playlists. The video clip also received heavy rotation on MTV.

Expansion of Heathrow Airport
The expansion of Heathrow Airport has involved several proposals by Heathrow Airport Holdings to increase capacity at Heathrow Airport.
In December 2006 the Department for Transport published a progress report on the strategy which confirmed the original vision. In November 2007 the government started a public consultation on its proposal for a slightly shorter third runway (2,000 metres (2,187 yd)) and a new passenger terminal.
The plan was supported by businesses, the aviation industry, the British Chambers of Commerce, the Confederation of British Industry, the Trades Union Congress and the then Labour government. It was opposed by Conservative and Liberal Democrat parties as opposition parties and then as a coalition government. Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, as well as many environmental and local advocacy groups and prominent individuals also opposed the project. While the expansion was originally cancelled on 12 May 2010 by the new coalition government, as of 1 July 2015 the plan has been suggested as the best option by the Airport Commission.

Well firstly, should I say I finally achieved one of my goals for a long time - Getting a compilation under the hour mark, this time clocking in at 49 mins, hug...
Well firstly, should I say I finally achieved one of my goals for a long time - Getting a compilation under the hour mark, this time clocking in at 49 mins, huge contrast to the 90 min vids I've been doing lately.
Filmed on the 18/07/16, the day before the hottest day of the year so far in Britain, with temperatures on the 18th reaching 28 celsius at Heathrow, the following day 33 celsius was recorded - That's hot for us!
The video is filmed between 4:30-09:00, sadly as I was setting up the First arrival of the day, a BA A380 landed, so I didn't manage to catch this one, but I got the second arrival onwards. All of which are heavies excluding 3 - The early morning arrival of Air Canada's A319 from St John's, a KLM 737-900 in Skyteam livery and an Austrian A321 aborting landing (Previous Aircraft had failed to vacate runway in time).
This video includes a good variety of Heavies from all around the world, actually I caught atleast one plane from every continent, of which include BA heavies, Virgin heavies, United, American and a few Delta heavies, some A380's including Etihad, Thai, Qatar and more, a few 787's including Air India, Royal Brunei and more, and of course this video also include's Finnair's stunning A350-900XWB, OH-LWE - One of their newest! I didn't manage to catch everything that arrives between 6-7am such as Emirates some more BA A380's, Delta's 757 and more due to them using RW27R - 6am-7am is LHR's rush hour and both runways are in use at this time - I did film some 27R arrivals, but there's a load of trees and lamp posts obscuring the view :( Fortunately I caught what I wanted - RBA and SAA

How to get from Heathrow airport to London without pulling your hair out Tutorial. Located 20 miles (32km) to the west of London, Heathrow (LHR) is one of the world's busiest international airports. Sometimes it can really suck getting from the airport to where you want to be depending on traffic and the time of day.
How do you travel from the airport to London? This short Documentary (almost in English) explains the various types of transport available and the prices. The TUBE, Taxi and Heathrow Express are all explored. Terminal 1 2 3 4 5 are all the same. Piccadilly Line London Underground.
Oyster card pre-pay. Rush Hour in London sucks. UK
You will need to pay a £5 deposit when you get a new Oyster card. You can get the £5 refunded if you return the Oyster card when you leave London. Then you have to pay for the "daily price" or weekly and monthly price, if you are visiting longer, at Heathrow Station.
Check out the London Tube Checker and London Bus checker apps for the iPhone. They are a real lifesaver.

The UK authorities put in place the Airports Commission, Sir Howard Davies a self-sufficient commission chaired to ascertain various strategies for maximizing capaCity at United Kingdom airports. The commission shortlisted two solutions for improving Heathrow airport including a 3rd runway in Heathrow airport, in addition to a third option for expanding Gatwick Airport.
