First Time (第一次) is the ninth album to be released by actor and singer Jackie Chan. It was released across Asia in 1992. This marks the first album Chan sings the majority of the songs in Mandarin.

It also marks the first time music videos were recorded to accompany some of the songs. Fans also note a change in Chan's singing style, saying it became softer in this album.

"First Time" is a song recorded by American pop rock band, Jonas Brothers. The song was released as the second single from their now-cancelled fifth studio album on June 25, 2013 by Jonas Enterprises. This was the final single released by the group before their breakup.

Background and composition

Though it does have the family harmonies of the brothers’ past releases, “First Time” really is an older sound, nice and danceable with a bit of an electronica feel. It’s all representative of the evolution of the band  :-Nick Jonas shared of "First Time.”

According to Joe Jonas, said in an interview with MTV on April 22 that the new single is possibly set to be released before they hit the road again in July 2013. On June 10, Kevin Jonas announced during a radio interview that the new single is coming soon. The next day on June 11 the single cover was released. "First Time", the album's second single, was announced on June 12 as the album's second single. During a livechat on Monday June 17, the release date will be announced. The full version of the song was leaked online on June 12. After leaking early the official release date was announced on June 14; The single will be released on June 25, 2013. Nick Jonas talked about the song in an interview with MTV on June 25; He Said: "I think it felt right. It felt like the kind of song that people that weren't maybe as familiar with our music and maybe wouldn't have called themselves fans would respond positively to because it's so different for us,". "Or, at least, I hope they will and it's one of my favorites, one of all of our favorites, I think from the minute we created it. So hopefully it's a positive reaction and it goes over great live. It's a big party when we play that song."

Cherry (comics)

Cherry (originally Cherry Poptart) is an adult comic book with a protagonist of the same name, written and drawn by Larry Welz.

History

First published in 1982 the comic series was originally called Cherry Poptart, but the title was changed to Cherry beginning with Issue #3 following litigation or threats of litigation by Kellogg's over its Pop-Tarts trademark, as confirmed by Welz himself. It has also been suggested that Welz decided that the "Cherry" name alone was better as a brand and looked better as a logo. Inside the comic Cherry's name was changed to Cherry Popstar, and that name was used in a number of stories, but she was most frequently referred to by just her first name.

The original series has also spawned a spinoff title in 1992 - Cherry's Jubilee - which ran four issues, and featured stories from other writers and artists alongside work by Welz. In addition, individual issues are collected in a series of Cherry Collections. Welz has also produced an issue of Cherry Deluxe featuring a story by Neil Gaiman.

514 Cherry

The 514 Cherry is a new streetcar route proposed by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Streetcars will operate through the financial district and downtown Toronto between Dufferin Gate Loop and the Cherry Street Loop. This will add to the current 504 King service along King Street, specifically to the dense residential areas in Liberty Village,Canary District and Distillery District. The city of Toronto's "King Street Visioning Study" proposes a transit and pedestrian corridor through which this route would operate. Transit congestion had become so bad that UberHop launched a rush-hour service for the corridor in December 2015.

History

Service Initiatives in the Preliminary 2016 TTC Operating Budget, called for dedicated resources to implement a new service at an operating cost in 2016 of $0.8 million and $2.1 million annually after. No additional funding was available and implementation will have to depend on the availability of existing resources. Operation on the Cherry Street streetcar line had never been planned to begin until later in 2016, by which time it is expected the 2015 Pan American Games Athletes' Village will have been converted to apartments and a George Brown College student residence will be open.

High (film)

High is a film released in 1967, directed by Larry Kent and starring Lanny Beckman, Astri Thorvik, Peter Mathews, Joyce Cay, and Denis Payne. It was filmed in Montréal, Québec, Canada.

It is likely most-remembered for being banned by the censors of Quebec (immediately before its premiere at the Montreal Film Festival) for its use of drugs, nudity, and explicit sex scenes.

In defense, celebrities such as Jean Renoir, Fritz Lang, and even Warren Beatty came to High 's defense as a film of art, rather than gratuity.

Alan King and Jean-Pierre Lefebvre, the winners of the 1967 Montreal Film Festival, went so far as to share with Larry Kent the prize money they had won.
