Australian Community Media (ACM)
Leading rural and regional newspapers and digital media - specialising in news coverage via print publications and multi-media channels, digital ventures, events and research for local regional and agricultural communities. ACM's regional publications include The Canberra Times, Newcastle Herald, Launceston Examiner, Border Mail, Ballarat Courier and Illawarra Mercury along with over 160 local newspapers and community-based websites. ACM's portfolio of agricultural publications includes The Land, Queensland Country Life, North Queensland Register, Stock Journal, Stock and Land along with Farm Weekly. Macquarie Radio Network
Leading national news, talk, sport and music radio network - Fairfax has a 54.5% shareholding in the ASX-listed Macquarie Radio Network (ASX:MRN), which operates the leading news, talk and sport stations in Sydney and Melbourne. The expanded MRN is the result of the merger of Fairfax Radio Network's 3AW, 2UE, 4BC and 6PR stations with MRN's 2GB.
