Sindhi food buffs and chaat lovers need no introduction to the tastes of Kailash Parbat, though one may claim that this place is more for the hygiene conscious people who relish chaat. Palate-pleasing Chole Bhature, Samosa Chaat, Paani Puri, Bhelpuri and Dahi Vada continue to be in great demand here at the Andheri branch. Clean, contemporary, with warm hued interiors, this open-through-the-day restaurant serves specialities like Spiced Roti, Sindhi Curry, Ajwain Paratha and Aloo Tuk, which should be sampled at least once. Though for a place that serves Sindhi cuisine, one may wonder - Where's Sai Bhaji and Dhingri Mutter? An anomaly! You can also order a wholesome Meal Box (dal, two veggies, rice, papad, salad and a sweet) if you're not in a snacky mood. Burfis, Ghewar (available during Holi) and Halwa are also decent. They offer outdoor catering and banquet facilities as well. Overall, Kailash Parbat is a nice vegetarian restaurant, best for its chaat and North Indian fare and is a family restro in all aspects. Besides the Andheri outlet, Kailash Parbat is also present at multiple locations in Mumbai including Colaba, BKC, Sakinaka, Malad, Kandivali, Ghatkopar and Kurla.
