Thieves use tomahawks to threaten service station attendant before stealing cash

Thieves have used tomahawks to threaten a service station attendant in Bracken Ridge on Saturday morning, before fleeing with cash and stock.

Police said just before 5am two men entered the business of Telegraph Road armed with tomahawks and threatened an employee.

Police are investigating the robbery of a Bracken Ridge service station and are searching for two men armed with tomahawks who fled in a stolen convertible.

The attendant handed over the contents of the cash register and some of the service station stock before the men fled in a stolen convertible.

No one was injured in the robbery and investigations are continuing.
