Allow VM Backup to restore VMs with mixture of Premium and STD Disks
Currently when doing a VM Level restore. Its only possible to restore to a single storage account. This means that if a VM had multiple storage accounts (say for premium and standard storage) this is not supported in restore.

“Reset configuration only” did not work when “Block all incoming connections, including those in the list of allowed apps”
If “Block all incoming connections, including those in the list of allowed apps” in Windows Firewall on Azure VM is set accidentally, RDP connection will not work anymore.
“Reset configuration only” in “Reset password” on Azure Portal does not fix this issue.
Please consider improving “Reset configuration only” feature.3 votes -

User Privileges in Azure Resource IAM - Can't Prevent Resource Deletion
Despite all the structure of the roles and privileges available, not one that I have tested allows users to stop and start VM but not delete them. In addition to that, then applying Delete locks on resources has no effect for those users added under IAM as owners or contributors - the can still delete resources through the portal. Delete locks do not work for us.

Portal Error: Failed to remove user using IAM
I have some issues I would like to report regarding Access Control (IAM) for Azure resources. After adding a user group with permissions to read a resource group, afterwards that User Group cannot be removed. Error is "failed to remove user".

Update Azure VM images FASTER!
I just spun up an A2 VM to find that it needs about a half-dozen updates right off the bat, including KB3213986. That's a 1GB update that was released back on Jan. 6 (today is Jan. 24). Can't you get images updated weekly when WS updates roll out?

"one time" (or "once in a while") support requests for freelance Azure developers
How about you guys having a "one time" support request for Azure for us freelance developers who can't afford $29 per month. Something at a low cost (or even free) as we are your front line folks for getting clients to use Azure.

Change subscription from CSP to pay-as-you-go
Once you setup your Azure infrastructure using a CSP subscription, you are unable to move the billing to a credit card pay-as-you go subscription. This definitively needs to be fixed!

Use correct English...
"Retain Backup Till" is slang. The words should be "Retain Backup Until".

App service advisor. Allow to configure destination email
Currently App Service Advisor send email to all subscription admins which is in some cases very annoying because not everyone must be aware of this.
It should be configurable just as normal alerts, where you have the option to "Notify all admins" or just enter manually the emails you want to notify.

New firewall rule for Azure SQL Server for integrating with Office 365 services
There is a firewall rule to allow all azure services access to the SQL server in Azure, but for BCS, it would be great to have a parallel rule to allow all Office 365 IPs as well. Since the current count of Office 365 IP ranges is 126, and the number of rules per firewall is 128, there is little room for one's application specific IP ranges.
Add this to the SQL server firewall setup on the portal, and in Azure PowerShell scripting, REST, etc.

Old portal is much much better than the new one! You should invest more into old portal!
I was just lost on the new portal. Dark theme is very unattractive. Once I opened old one, everything is so nice and understandable!

cannot buy anything after upgrading trial subscription
I started a trial subscription with a new account for a customer project. I immediately changed the type from trial to "pay as you go", as I knew the project would go live. Then I wanted to purchase domains via the portal - it failed for days without any meaningful error message. So I bought the domains directly via GoDaddy and added them to the portal. Then I wanted to buy an SSL certificate via the portal, which also failed. For both trouble-tickets MS support said it was due to the fact, that my trial is not fully converted to…

allow for company access to an azure account as most business accounts are tied isolated to a single user.
I suggest you allow for company access to an azure account as most business accounts are not isolated to a single user. There should be a way to allow multiple users access to invoice or billing history.

Network Security Group Source Azure Services option
My scenario include two Virtual Machines acting as Web Servers and a Traffic Manager in-place if the primary node fails I can switch to the other VM that is in a different datacenter. However they are accessible only by specific public IPs and to get Traffic Manager working, I had to create a rule in a different port for ANY.
Wouldn't be easier to have an option on Source Azure Services, like there is in Azure SQL Server firewall?

owner of a domain, like domain.com should be able to verify it ndependently of the domain being already verified on another tenant
Provide the owner of a domain - for example. "domain.com" - to be able to verify it, independently of the domain being already verified on another tenant (especially on tenants with no activity).
It doesn't make sense that the owner of a domain have to submit a Support Request to Microsoft, wait some weeks to a month for the domain to be released in order to be verified with the new tenant.2 votes -
put delays on when a subscription payment is not made and when the warning about the account be disabled due to lack of payment.
I received 3 emails within 1 minute with the following topics:
1. Microsoft Account Update Required to Avoid Interruption in Service
2.We have not received payment - Your Subscription will be disabled soon
3.We have not received payment - Your Subscription will be disabled soonThe payment not being made was traced to a problem at Microsoft. So getting a blast from Microsoft before any discussion takes place is a nuisance.
