I Love Firefox Sadly a lot less sites are Firefox friendly now days my webspace provider being one of them being everyone is tring to push chrome & edge. I hope Firefox will make updates to stay on top as this has been my favorite for many years along side pale moon also a browser from mozilla. For those who use Ubuntu linux Firefox is its default browser so many people still heavily rely on it. Its a great browser for both phones & computers. I love its add-ons, fav bar, accounts, and more. Stick around Firefox!

Most Customization, Slowing w/ each update I use Firefox on my computers and love it. For some reason, each update seems to slow down both UI response time and page loading time. Even when set to minimalist settings, it still seems to lag. I have since tried several new browsers and found better speeds, but nowhere near the features. I hope this app can improve, as the desktop browser is great.

Feature rich, highly customizable, secure but lacks speed in comparison to chrome Firefox is the only browser i use both on my computer and android. I really like Firefox. It's highly customizable. Private browsing got tracking protection which can't be seen on other browser as well as using addon on Android. One thing it lacks is speed of chrome. In terms of speed i believe chrome is much better over Firefox. Firefox dev should really consider bringing more speed into this browser rather than adding more features.

Very nice. Been using Firefox for several years now on my tablet, cell phone and desktop. Like to be able to sync settings and bookmarks across multiple devices. Also like the fact that there are a multitude of add ons available. Sadly though it seems to have gotten somewhat slower over the last few iterations as compared to several other browsers I have used. Otherwise nice app.

Love Firefox and its add-ons I have Firefox installed on my personal computer, my work computer, and one of my tablets. It is the most secure browser with its add-ons I have ever used and prefer it above every other browser. The problem I'm having is I can install it on my other tablet, RCA Viking II, customize it, and surf with it but when I close it and try to return to it later, it has been uninstalled. I thought leaving it in my recent applications list would help but it doesn't. Installed it again last night and made it my default but this morning it is no longer on my tablet. Please advise.

Sync and other non functionality I rely on my browsers to provide cross platform syncing. I also want apps to give me accurate error messages. Firefox doesn't do this. The application on my Tab S2 won't sync, telling me it's not up to date. However Google Play says it is up to date, and what do you know? Checking for updates from the app itself results in a message that there are no updates. The help section says syncing is not supported for mobile browsers ... but I'm both using the app, AND the app on my Galaxy S5 syncs without issue.

Could be better I've been searching for a better browser, but I'm still using Firefox, because it offers nice privacy features. Also tried Brave, which offered better privacy features but drained my battery (like Chrome, which also drains my battery). There's one thing which could be improved: please speed up Firefox. It's speed is horrible now... Even the Duckduckgo app is faster!
I like you, Firefox. I really do. But I just can't do this anymore. You start out so fast, but quickly bog down and load pages slowly. Even without addons! Should I clear settings every week? Would that make you happy? And your interface... You don't work like a standard Android app. This is especially clear in Marshmallow. Just select some text and you'll see. You have a lot of good points: open-source, security minded, addons. But I can't keep torturing myself. Maybe we can try again sometime. For now,
Works awesome. I use firefox for years. Almost as good as the pc_browser. But it is the best android webbrowser. Especialy the add-ons to block almost all the advertisement, these days you cant surf one minute not seeing some sirt of advertisement. I hate advertisement, and because of firefox I can surf totaly ad-free. Go Mozilla. When I win a million bucks in the lottery I will give 10% to the developers of mozilla firefox and the adblockers.
Molding Future Awareness No matter how enculturate the times, the past and future, the modern civilization still looked to old times like in application we need to back for the basic it means both information no matter how big it is will depend of how humans use and keep. It does not matter if i take back what i picked in the past because w/out it i dont have the better options to pick that firefox best to offer.
Very good browser Firefox for Android is a really good alternative for other mobile browsers! It's working well, the user interface is easy to use and you can find all options quickly. It also brings all the privacy features you're used to on your phone too, which is great! Support from Mozilla is also good. It's sometimes a bit slow though.
I tried Opera, the native and chrome but neither of them seemed to be as efficient as the Firefox for me. Firefox sync integrated seamlessly as always without me having to worry abt remembering all my passwords With the quitnow addon i can exit firefox without having to worry about memory consumption 5*
Browser broken Does not clear on exit with settings applied. Used to a few months ago now it stopped with updates. Crashes randomly and uses alot of ram for no reason. It also is laggy and slow. What devices are devs using to test this on? Please fix ASAP. Will be going back to an old version that works correctly and better.
Almost perfect Everything about this app works well and smooth. I've always loved firefox on all of my devices so I guess I'm a little biased. Extensions are great, I love that most of my desktop extensions are available on mobile. If it had one finger zoom (double tap and drag) it would be a perfect browser but they've made it pretty clear they have no intentions of implementing this
Firefox has crashed Firefox crashes a couple of dozen times a day. It fights all your other apps, making them crash as well. Listen to music on another app? I won't get through an album before I get a crash report from Firefox, while my phone is utterly unattended, just playing music, on the table, untouched and Firefox is only running in the background or something.
Really want to like it, but too slow This is the only free open browser that I can find, but the user experience is just painful. The browser often freeze for 10 sec when page would just become blank. Mozilla really needs to work on modernize and trim their code base before it's too late.
Solid, addons, freedom to deter tracking I had to root my phone to get chrome out of here (chrome baked in) but obviously Firefox is a solid browser you can get your addons, use sync to get your favorites, and the most important part have a browser from a solid foundation that is supporting your digital freedom. People make no mistake take your digital privacy as serious as your identity!
Now everytime I type "ba" Firefox always suggest "bankofamerica" eventhough I have cleared history and doesn't have it bookmarked, what a dirty sponsorship/advertisement placement. I use other browsers, but I had always been using this as my main browser. It's used to be a good browser for me. It's a bit slow when using mobile data compared to other browsers.
Supports browser extensions This is my browser of choice on mobile. I chose this for mobile because it supports add-ons (especially privacy ones) on mobile whereas Chrome does not (and probably never will). My gripes with Firefox: the customer support email on this page is a bogus one.
Firefox Pathetic, give it a miss. Waste of time and effort. There is better. The support is worse than the browser. The website I visited has a download tab, but Firefox doesn't have a visible download section. The support tells you how to download the browser, but not how to download when in the browser, can't find the download place and therefore cannot download selected files. Downloading is not as easy as it is on other browsers. On Firefox, it's a mission and I looked for a support number or contact, nothing
Great but not smooth enough. I like very much the functionality of Firefox and ease of use and I want to support this browser by using it. However, on all my devices including my powerful Oneplus 3T the scrolling is just not smooth but rather jittery which is actually an unpleasant experience. Chrome doesn't have this issue but I still prefer Firefox at least for now. Also, what would be great to have are gestures similar to UC Browser for going back/forward etc.
Slow as hell! I don't know what Mozilla has done to Firefox on pc and Android, but it is terrible. On pc it goes completely black, lags and freezes something awful. And it is not my computer because all my work computers do the same thing. On Android, it is slow and gets stuck on pages. I type in an address and it just stays on whatever stupid site I was on already. It also causes my phone to overheat. Not a cheap phone... Sony Xperia Z3+. I'm switching to Chrome... It sucks but not as bad as Firefox.
Utterly pathetic attempt You cannot edit or change any text you have typed without deleting everything after it, due to the typing bar being fixed at the end. This app crashes all the time, and the "support" site soes not allow you to ask questions or report on problems, which is probably the reason this app is so terrible. Well done Firefox, you win the prize for least effort.
I LOVE the security and privacy controls!! Thats why i gave the second star!! Worth it!! But it shuts down my android.system.ui every few minutes. LG Volt if you wanna work on the issue. Loved Firefox for pc too!! Just doesnt like my phone. Ill try install again in a month or so.
Was told that you could download internet videos to your device. Don't have the slightest idea how to make it do that ! Still cuts photos in half and stacks them on top of each other making a pdf. Won't copy all content to .pdf. Only 1 star because my issues have not been addressed. Will not shut off. Runs in the background and runs down your battery. When making a .pdf file, it copies the top and bottom page controls and interfers with text. Makes making a .pdf useless. The above issues are sporadic.
Only Browser I Ever Use I have been using Firefox as my personal browser on all my devices for several years now. I won't fib and tell you I haven't had issues and crashes but they were minimal issues usually caused by a beta add-on and easily fixed. My privacy is worth more to me which is what Firefox is all about. The best search engine I have ever used.Thank you Mozilla Firefox! I am your loyal customer.
An Okay Browser Manging site preferences and privacy settings is easy and simple. The do not track option is also easy to find and set off. Quick and speedy, though switching between tabs after using Google chrome feels like a hassle and should be as easy as a swipe. We need more gesture based commands. There's also the issue of the browser constantly crashing.
Only had it for a day But until now it feels really good! Faster and lighter than Chrome and Facebook stopped pestering me to install their Messenger. I can just read/write Fb messages from within the browser which is great!
2nd time i uninstalled do to very slow loading I have google and firefox.....google loads almost instant. Firefox takes a very long time so much so i sometimes assume its locked up. This is true across all my devices....firefox just lags hard.
Love it Prob the best browser out there. I have all the major browsers installed, because from time to time one works better with a particular website than the other. Firefox became my primary after using others and running into problem websites, firefox most often was the one that worked properly
Why the apps always crash? I got an error message telling me the apps is crashed and there is an option to send crash report to Mozilla and this happen even when I don't run the apps, I was playing games or using other apps and suddenly the Mozilla crash report will appear out of nothing. Strange but true, I love Mozilla in PC but on my Android phone it doesn't behave properly... Sad!!!
I always used Opera Browser, but then I tried Foxfire & I was hooked. Way better than Opera.. It's even better than Chrome! In fact, the only thing it's lacking, is the ability to organize all of my bookmarks into subject folders. Do that & it'll definitely be a 5-star Browser!!
Secure Connection Failed constantly I keep getting this message on websites that are legit even Google's own website. Why is there always a hassle? Why Can't This just work? Very disappointed in Firefox. Switching back to Chrome.
Indeed marvelous browser among all android browsing experience.... The only browser providing webpage saving in html format and also the facility of saving pdf format...!! If there is above 5 * rating .... i would definitely give..!! 7* but only one difficulty.. is.. there is no facility of bookmarks folder or backup restore feature of bookmarks.
Memory Usage issues Two of my Apps tell me that Firefox is not using memory well, or not correctly, or even just too much. My built in Task Manager continually shows me a Yellow, or Red warning from this App. Why is it so Memory intensive? Even after I have cleared all the Cache. In fact even clearing 'everything' available, it still seems like a Memory Mis-user. This is even without a page loaded, just a fresh tab NOT even connected to the Internet yet.
Firefox has been crashing recently I have had multiple episodes of something causing my Firefox to crash at start. I've had to delete my data to be able to run the app. Frustrating. Hope this issue is soon resolved, as there is no Firefox substitute.
Supports Add-ons The support for add-ons is my reason for using Firefox for most of my browsing on android. Ads on many mobile sites have become so intrusive, they make the sites nearly unreadable. The ability to block those ads (of at least most of them) with an add-on is a big plus.
solid browser. unlike chrome, it can play music in the background. period. did we mention that it can play everything in the background even with screen off? needs some refining though. top wishlist: 1. refresh page by overscrolling while on top gesture. 2. simpler, option for white skin. those two curves on the tab are distracting in mobile screens. 3. custom download location with SD permissions. 4. tab thumbnails are a bit big, with space consuming layout. could fit one more or change layout, even adopt overlapping scroll UI.
Crashes Constantly I've never had a worse experience with a browser. I couldn't tell you how many times it has exited me out of whatever page I was on and completely crashed to the point of not even saving my webpages I had pulled up. And then I would have to start all over, bring my pages back up, just for another crash to happen. I will never download and use this again and I will also spread the word about all the complications I experienced over and over
Sometimes slow, but configurable! Supports everything you need. Extensions get rid of the "your device has infected 4 viruses" scummy adverts that plague sites these days and you don't have to deal with Chromes "link preview" zoom boxes. It used to be a bit slow and laggy scrolling but has improved a lot recently. Adjustable via about:config for when you find things missing in the rather limited options menu.
