Since the reservation via email the staff was amazing, they explain me everything about the restaurant and the night club. So the same day the reservation was done I bougth the tickets for the night club (Lavo Web Site).

When my wife and I arrive to the restaurante the attention and service was amazing, the food incredible. Then after dinner at 11:30 pm we go to the night club. The entrance is very easy when you have your tickets and ID. Once inside the place is great and all the bar tenders are girls, very nice and beautiful.

It's a very nice place in all the way, ir you go to NYC you can't miss it.

My husband and I were invited to join a group of our 5 girlfriends to celebrate a bachelorette weekend. When we approached the doorman/bouncer they let in one of the girls in our group, but made the others wait (in the rain). The doorman told the bride to be to "take that ugly f**king thing off your head" referring to her veil - before she could get in. He was about to let all the ladies in when he found out they had two gay men coming in with them - all of the sudden the cos...t of admission was $1,500 minimum bottle service. After we agreed to pay, he told another one of our girlfriends "that's what you get for running your mouth"! I honestly didn't even want to patronize this club after the homophobic & misogynistic comments we had to endure, but this is really where the bachelorette wanted to go, so we sucked it up. Once inside, the area for "bottle service" was just a small booth seat open to the main dance floor. The dance floor was soo crowded, people kept knocking into our drink table and standing in our area. Another group behind us was smoking weed and was soo wasted they spilled multiple drinks on us. We complained to a floor manager/security but nothing was done. The crowd was mainly 20 something d-bags and trashy girls/escorts who were soo drunk they could hardly stand up. The women's bathrooms were filthy and like a sauna. 2 bottles of Kettle One and mixers, bottle service ended up costing us $1,900+ after included gratuity of nearly $500 bucks. Total rip off and horrible experience overall. I would recommend anywhere else!

The food at the restaurant was good. The atmosphere was great. But the night club is a whole other story. You would think that they let the restaurant goers into the club minus a cover. They don't! Which is fine but they told us that the cover was $70 per female. Then tells another person that it was $100 per female. The fact that the boucers can charge whatever they want is crazy. I would gobtobthe restaurant again. But you can't pay me to go to the night club. Better places in Harlem. With no cover.

This place is a total joke and quite frankly and embarrassment to Nyc! Myself and my twin have been in nightlife almost 16 years here. We are very well known and have been to Lavo numerous times. You have a homophobic and transphobic guy working the door, along with some basic looking girl, telling people who can and can't get in. We are always impeccably styled! We attend places all over this city like Boom Boom Room, Public Hotel, Dream, Avenue, 1oak etc. and get treated like royalty... Comped, bottle service, no waiting in line, and its been this way for 16 years. This place should be shut down, for discrimination against the lgbtq! It blows my mind that things like this still happen in Nyc!

My two female friends were up at the front and I was just trying to get next to them. The “bouncer” at the right side of Lavo on 10/13 called me a faggot and pushed me down and said if I tried reaching them again I would get kicked out of the “club.” I have never been so disrespected in my life. The homophobic vibe was rampant. My friends and I left the venue immediately due to the disrespect, homophobia, and racism that was experienced. I usually go to Marquee, but I decided to experience Lavo tonight. I can confidentially say that Lavo is homophobic and racist and I will never return to this club again. They need new management and personal at club to truly know how to run a true business. My whole night was ruined and during the short time I was there I felt like an outlier and I felt like I was getting looked down upon.

Horrible experience with the manager. We went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. Another friend got sick, fainted and vomited, the manager got upset that this happened and now he need to compensate the people that was sitting next to us, I told him that it's crazy that he cares about this instead of caring about our sick friend! He didn't like what I said and kick me out of the club. This place is overrated, prices are way too high and people are discussing

I went for Riviera Sunday. It was one of the best experiences I've had in my life. You will see some reviews complain about the price. Yes, it's expensive, but you have to consider what you're paying for. You're getting dinner, a show, interaction with the performers and a dance party. And I don't know if it's the norm or not, but there was a lady giving out free massages. It is well worth the price. I would suggest Riviera Sundays to anyone who's going to be in NYC on a Sunday night.

There's never any parking, if you do find a parking garage it is 60 fucking dollars. My best friend got punched in the face because two douchebags were fighting over coatcheck. The crowd is douchy in general, no good vibes whatsoever. No room whatsoever. It was just a bad experience in general everytime. Even tho I made the best of it.

Riviera Sunday was just the best. They really make you feel like a VIP was very impressive!! Definitely would do it again. Just want to add people saying the club judges people by how they look I mean there's a line halfway down the street and people are trying to get in an spend money. Like wtf you think with your 20 dollar drink GTFO like you're doing them a service.

If you go to ANY club it's priority for good looking/big spenders especially when people are dying to get in. BTW my wife and I barely spent a grand and were treated like ROYALTY. So idk maybe some of the people putting 1 star need to rethink their own life and realize a high end nightclub isn't the place for you if you're worried about a 20 dollar drink we are paying extra specifically cause we don't want to deal with bargain shoppers hanging out for free!

Went there Sunday night to celebrate a bday. Loved the food, the energy and the shows. Despite the fact that it was super crowded, our waitress was very attentive and made sure we got everything we needed right away. We had a group of 9 and everyone had a ball. I can’t wait to go back!!
