I typically attend the Avalon theater with my guest on average one night per week. No matter if it is Tigerheat on a Thursday evening LGBT or a Friday evening EDM From the moment you walk in the door you can feel the energy fill you from head to toe. This Historical venue is full of class and I consider a must see in Hollywood. If you have the opportunity to book a ticket to see a show or attend a concert look no further you are guaranteed in amazing time. Location five stars. Cleanliness five stars. Staff five stars. Security five stars. Overall experience five stars. Don't visit Los Angeles without stopping at the Avalon theater. You would be passing up a lifetime experience

My wife and I went there for the first time for a Depeche Mode convention in 23 October 2016. This place is awesome!! Loved the experience and the bar tenders were great! Plenty of dance space and seating(if you need it). We will be going back in the future. We had a great time.

Avalon is an iconic nightclub located right off of Hollywood Blvd. I never had any issues with security or staff there. Bottle service is reasonable compared to nightclubs like Create. When they aren't booking non-stop trance DJs they book some good talent. Dirty South burned the venue to the ground with his set, luckily they were able to restore it. There are lots of people on droogz there. Good thing about droogz is you think other people are on droogz to. So you're tired from shaking that fart box all night long? Make your way to the middle of the dance floor where you will find the Asian massage train. After you'll be ready to go back at it. It's often this club goes to the morning, so go hard or go home.

Disrespectful ass "security" specially out in the smoking patio. Last night one of your security man bitches had some kind of melt down or he was on his period I'll just assume that he was trying to act tough with his panties in a bunch trying to impress the other security guards?? I don't know but very unprofessional getting all up in my face. I didn't get intimidated he just made himself look like a man bitch. So keep your shitty ignorant security on check. And fuck that black security guard along with his lil fat man bitches outside the smoking patio. I'll send a box of Extra absorbent Tampons

I've been to many venues across the country. The Avalon experience seems to be the mark of what most clubs aspire to be. As a patron and a performer, it's the path to an unforgettable night.

The venue is great.. However the security staff is horrible.. I had an interaction with them were I was upset and used curse words and they got their little panties in a bunch., if you are security and dealing with people you need to be able to handle someone using curse words jeez!!! Will not be going back there unfortunately..

Used to love Avalon but the last few times I've been there the sound has been terrible. I shouldn't be able up have a conversation at regular volume standing in the middle is the dance floor. Please fix this.

my first time, and I was impressed, all service aware of every situation ... I ask no more, the best club I have visited, the best of the best, the atmosphere is tops, no doubt, I will return many sometimes this place.

So what they say is true ; I got $.50 added to every tip I left. But besides that, the CONTROL : JOYRYDE show with Rickyxsan and Sam F b2b Swage was the best show I've ever been to and Avalon was definitely the best venue.

Which adds to it's excellent Architecture
Plenty of room and excellent Guests
Staff was great too, Even a place to smoke
Couldn't go wrong coming here !
