Went to Lulu's Cafe! It was amazing, the best chicken fried steak I ever had!
— feeling full with Terry Meier at Lulu's Bakery & Cafe.Folks, it's true! Everything is bigger in Texas. This is a 3lb cinnamon roll from Lulu's Bakery and Cafe in San Antonio. (Truth: The waitresses and waters are just normal size. 😃)

Started our last day at Six Flags with a great breakfast date! We conquered Lulu's 3lb cinnamon bun...well part of it😆

Blah....not all that great as everyone makes it out to be...it's more the fact that it has made the news on man vs. food...we waited 1hr and 15min before we even got our food..not to mention the 30 min it took for us to get our order taken for our drinks etc...chicken fried steak wasn't good...no flavor..tasted like old oil...can't complain about the cinnamon roll..that was the only good part...would i go back? Definitely not..unless i want to enter another sugar coma 😂

Yesterday was my first time there and the service was terrible. Waited for at least 15 minutes for our waitress to get our drink order. Food took about 45 minutes to an hour. Chicken friend chicken was not that great. The one from Ihop is way better. Waitress seemed to ignore us every time I tried to wave her down. Only thing I was impressed with was the 3 lb cinnamon roll. Having to wait in a long line along with people picking up cinnamon rolls just for us to pay after we ate was ridiculous too. Don't think I'd go again.

Went this weekend while on vacation and could not order. cinnamon bun to be shipped until the week day, called today was told I can only call 9am-11am. I'm thinking they need a better system or just offer this service. While having breakfast this weekend I found it to be very unkept. Upon sitting at our table we found it extremely sticky, the food was ok not great and the bathrooms were not clean. Still calling to get my cinnamon bun shipped but wouldn't promote this as a must visit while in San Antonio.

It was ok, but definitely not worth the 1 hr wait during the weekend. I ordered the "award winning chicken fried steak", I'd say that 30% of what you see on the plate is just breading. We did order the 3lb cinnamon roll, again not as fantastic as it was hyped to be.
The service was good, the parking is horrible, the food is average, the wait is too long.

Wasn't all its hyped up to be. It's pretty nasty inside. I wanted to walk around with a bucket of bleach water and clean the place. It's so packed that whatever food they bring you, you might as well keep. It'll be next lifetime before you get it.
Service was mediocre and wait staff look over worked and unpaid. The food was not that good. Nothing to brag about or even mention.
I only went because I saw it on TV. I won't be back.

Enjoyed the giant cinnamon roll, but won't be back unless it's to get one to go. Place was very dirty & service was not good at all, messed up order, dirty silverware, dishes had food stuck to them...not a diva, but it was pretty gross. Recommend to experience the cinnamon roll but not anything else😬
